President Obama to provide federal funding for Alzheimer's programs

This is one thing Republicans and Democrats should be able to "ALWAYS" agree on: We need a CURE for Alzheimer's Disease NOW!!! Alzheimer's Disease strikes younger adults, as well as older adults! Look at the Tennessee Volunteers' Coach, Pat Summitt! She has Alzheimer's Disease @ 59 years old! I know others who have gotten Alzheimer's Disease at 35 and 49 years old! I almost hope somebody really famous like Al Pacino, Michael Douglas or Sean Connery get Alzheimer's Disease so society can see how devastating this disease is on the victim and caregiver, and how this disease should be taken seriously, and how more funding should go to this, more than AIDS and Cancer because Doctors and Scientists haven't even discovered how people get Alzheimer's Disease, nor have they come up with a product that can slow it down from taking your whole memory and then dying from it at the end! We need a CURE NOW!

Why isn't the Scientific community informing the public that certain Supplements like Huperzine A, Ceylon Cinnamon, Sage, Co-E1 Enada, Turmeric Curcumin, B-6, B-12, Folic Acid, N-Acetyl Cysteine and Alpha Lipoic Acid can either prevent you from ever getting Alzheimer's Disease or these Supplements can slow the progression of the disease? Answer: Because these Supplements cannot be patented, and as a result, Doctors, Scientists and Pharmaceutical Companies can't charge an Ungodly amount of money for that "miracle" pill, and become rich! Even though the people stated above were imminently famous, it will take a Superstar like Al Pacino, Michael Douglas or Sean Connery to get Alzheimer's Disease before people of every generation begins to take this disease seriously, they begin to put serious money behind finding a Cure and they keep a watchful eye that Doctors, Scientists and Pharmaceutical Companies aren't dragging their feet when it comes to finding a cure, so they can monopolize that product and price gauge that product to the point where poor to middle class individuals cannot afford the cure, all in hopes that infinite wealth will follow! Alzheimer's Disease must be taken seriously! Contrary to what the media tells us, it strikes people of "ALL AGES, NOT JUST SENIOR CITIZENS!!!"
