Of course the Libertarian Party would love to have Ron Paul as their esteemed candidate! I prefer to see Dr. Paul on the Republican campaign trail undoing the NeoCons.

The beauty of Ron Paul's campaign is how bad he makes the other candidates look, especially the NeoCons. The warmongering NeoCons have divorced themselves so far from the original tenents of the Republican party of peace, smaller government, and personal liberty that they present as Fascists. The longer Paul stays in the campaign, the more people awaken, and it will ultimately result in a win for a Democrat, likely Hillary, who will begin to lead this country back to greatness. The NeoCons, knowing they are no longer valid, won't run in the next presidential race, and the next Republican candidates will be true Conservatives who represent the party's original integrity.

IMPORTANT IF YOU CARE ABOUT OUR COUNTRY:
Let me begin by stating that if the opposite of what the following website puts forth were true, I'd feel the same. Any form of division in this country is wrong. Please look through the following website:

http://tucc.org/about.htm

The website is the site of Trinity United Church of Christ, the one that our Presidential candidate Barack Obama belongs to, attends and states is the very core of his beliefs and spirituality. He states that the Pastor there is his personal friend and religious mentor. He was married in this church, and his children were baptized there as well. Having said that, and realizing that this is an important campaign for many reasons, I decided to research what makes up the core of Obama.

After you have read the site, please watch the you-tube video that the church provides. If you have any question whether this is truly his church, look for him in the video. He is one of the men sitting at the table shaking hands. I also suggest you "google" Barack Obama's church and see what comes up.

Please forgive me this email. I just felt it was important for people to see something that the media won't touch. I also feel that this type of church is fine provided you are not running for President of the United States of all people.

This article is false. RP's campaign did not purchase that full page ad. Trevor Lymen did. Who is this Roboblogger that keeps putting up these forums to smear RP?
I see the Clone has already arrived with his "smear campaign." He is becoming laughable and most definately a waste of space on a page. LOL!!

give this some thought. if you had a lot of money and the morals of a clinton or bush and understood the power of the internet community behind paul, how long would it take them to come up with the idea of a weirdwillie or cycloned to be online 24-7s to slam anyone supporting paul. i know if i was them, with their moral and constitutional values or lack of them, i would do it. you don't even have to change the name just the person at the keyboard. hmmmm!!!

Interesting point but the only difference is that they have no valid arguments against Doctor Paul. You might disagree with him but you cannot discount his truth. Usually when losing a debate they resort to name calling or my favorite.."conspiracy theorists". You can debate the pro's and cons of any political ideology, but when confronted by a message of Dr. Paul it's pretty hard to refute with any facts. Why, Because the doctor himself throws facts, therefore they resort to name calling, poll fixing, and blatant lies. As you can see by the tirades (especially from the neo-con war mongers) just how much hate they have for this humble doctor.

If you want to debate something fine. If you start losing the debate start name calling if all else fails.(which it probably will against Dr.Paul) However, Paul supporters are jaded by nature and the main stream media. We just don't pay attention to the lies anymore.:)

exactly! they always misquote paul or give a snippet of his comment on something and distort it's meaning. i have never seen anyone get the treatment he is getting, especially from the gop. he is the first one ever to give clear examples of how to fix what has been long a problem in both parties. one day a majority will get his message and the dems and repubs in washington are afraid of that. that is what prompted all of the attacks and shennanigans on the part of the gop. they are scared not only of paul but what he says and that it is getting legs. the way in which they have virtually eliminated him from the news on the election is really something to be concerned about for the future of this country. this is not going away. go ron paul

there is a problem with the thinking of the american sheeple,

they think in winning terms, "ron will never win" so they cast their vote who they think will win, hmmm it is about being just, not the winner,

and this frame of thought has been rooting with our sports, our shows, american idol, and the other crap,

this country will only be saved with our blood, when we storm washington and free this country of every slimy reptile there,

spare ron paul, unless you see otherwise, hahaha

Ron Paul won the GOP presidential straw poll conducted by organizers at the Conservative Leadership Conference held at the Nugget Casino this weekend "by a large margin," according to an organizer.

Paul won with 33 percent, Romney came in second with 16 percent and Duncan Hunter was just behind with 15 percent. "Undecided" was fourth with 11 percent, and Thompson and Giuliani were next and ahead of the rest of the pack--all in single digits. Raw numbers haven't been provided, but there were approximately 430 registrants at the opening of the conference.

Although many of the Republican presidential teams had surrogates representing them at the conference, Mitt Romney and Duncan Hunter were the only candidates to speak at the conference, and the victor himself was not there.
