Saltillo flood plain meeting set

Saltillo Board & Mayor move to complete attempt to force Fire Chief Rob Woods out of a job. Mayor Bill "Lie to your face" Williams called an "Emergency Meeting" for Tuesday June 10, 2008 at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

This attempt is seen by many as a way to avert the wrath of citizens and firefighters over the blatant improper behavior by Williams and Board members.
Williams has tried to force his will over firefighters on several occasions including the "Party Atmosphere" after hours where firefighters played a plain radio during physical training or the theft by Williams et al. of the Volunteer Fire Funds.

Williams' failure in the Courts against other City employees proves he is NOT a true leader for Saltillo.

Don't let these tyrants get away with further bullying of our hard working firefighters.

As "King of Saltillo MS" Mayor Bill Williams intends to fire any city employee who stands up for others.

"King" Williams says he will do as he pleases.

In public forums Williams says it has nothing to do with "Rob Woods", but privately is Very intent on seeing Rob "silenced".

i think this is so ridiculous! rob woods is a great man! hes a great father husband to his wife and takes care of anything that needs to be taken care of at work. what happens with the guys on duty doesnt matter as long as the job is done!! have they ever failed to make a call or just let someone die because they were screwing around...i didnt think so. bill williams is a low life that rides around in a piece of crap bug and acts like his the best mayor in the world i have news for him he just messed with the wrong town. our blood is too thick to let this happen
