Add to that,Stark initially hired seasoned, experienced technicians to set up the shop and start the initial work process, but then decided that retaining the experience and producing top notch, high quality products was far less important than paying and keeping an under-qualified,tactless idiot as the production supervisor.
As soon as IAI finishes this experiment, they will once again be in sole charge of the UAV industry.
It has been mentioned and I have been told personally by a number of high ranking IAI visitors, dignitaries and supervisors that this is just an attempt to show the world that IAI is trying it's level best to team up with an American company and become a unified,multi-nation powerhouse in this market.
In reality, this is just a show and a political gamble and lie. By them complaining about budget costs, providing sub-par materials and documentation, altering proven and known good engineering drawings to "make it work",running off skilled technicians and retaining the unskilled and unknowing,IAI can put out bad products(Under Stark Aerospace's name)and claim the whole "We tried to have it MADE IN AMERICA,but it just didn't work" theory and totally regain their sole ownership of this endeavor and be the one and only source for the highly coveted UAV products they make, sell and service. Lets face it....The Israelis ARE NOT STUPID. Why would they choose a bunch of hayseed Mississppi dirt farmers to build war machines knowing AND steadily seeing those efforts fail on so many levels?????
