This is an economic issue, not a racial one. Again, it goes back to personal responsibility- the choices these people made before the hurricane, the choices their parents made for them.

.....You probably don't even know where, on the map, LA is located lol so how on earth are you "certified" to tell anyone who was there and who wasn't and why the problems happened and what happened? I guess the media can fool ANYONE now in days, even those who are across the globe. Mm..mm...mm, damn shame. This was PROBABLY (a big "P") about race, but not solely the entire thing. It's more about bureacracy point blank. The middle class and poor vs. the rich and powerful is the name of this game. |

Ahhhhh I miss the water (sigh). I bet it IS beautiful out there. So how often do you ever get to visit LA? Me, I plan on visiting my family and friends, along with doing a little work to help out the people there, some time this July or August. |

Yea, holla at cha leader Bush and tell him to use some of that stolen oil money from Iraq or some of the money that $ that him and the Binladins are making off the sale of weapons for war! If they give that all $ to help the Katrina Victims out! We ah end black poverty in America!

People are only seeing race, race, and race in this Katrina ordeal, but they're not looking at the big picture here. There's a war being waged on the poor and middle class people of America rather than "black" vs. "white." Well that too, but putting race aside for now. I'm glad to know that you know where LA is located lol. Some people actually think that "LA" stands for Los Angeles let alone can't point out the freakin state on a map. |
