<quoted text> Sure in the hell hope so. We don't need this mess anymore. Rumor says he is a going to be a private investigator, or own his own catering business. Heard anything about that? So what is it going to be? Who can answer that?
Why do you care? What business is it of yours anyway? If you are so sick of him why do you want to know about his future PERSONAL plans? Why do you need a personal whipping boy to make yourself feel good? Good, Bad or otherwise he is out, leave him out. In four years or less, when PR has publicly disappeared, YOU will be right here still in this forum bashing Bud, poor guy. Thats what people like you do. It doesn't matter who they are, you need to have someone upon which to pin your misery.

I think Don will go far in all of his endeavors. He is extremely smart and he is honest. I have met him only a couple of times yet he remebered my name, what I did for a living, and tidbits from our previous conversations. I think that shows his honest interest in the people he serves.

Do you even know what you are responding to? Go back and read the comment, tell us what you are trying to say. I will tell you this, P.R.S. is not a boy, and the only way people like you try to whip him is in a cowardly way. If you are so bad, put your name here, let's see how big you are.

I haven't heard, but would also like to know. Does anyone know? I sure hope Don wins this race. I think it will be good for Pointe Coupee.

According to the polls, it will most likely be Woody Jenkins on the Republican side and Michael Jackson on the Democratic side. Don will carry Pointe Coupee but won't show well in the other parts of the district. That's the word I have been hearing.

And remember, this is a closed primary. Republicans can only vote Republican. Democrats and Independents can vote Democratic.

Get out the vote!

<quoted text>I think Paul Raymond should run! He had at least 50% with 5000 people not voting in your parish! Remember his state and national connections. He said he dosen't want the sheriffs job again. He may not want to run, but I think that all of the people that stabbed him in the election should at least ask him to run. It might clear some minds.
People just don't know how much that back stabb is going to change the parish.I think the next DA & ST REPS will come from Iberville or West Baton Rouge

Hmmmm...... that "back stabb" must not have been that bad, not even important enough for a reply to my question.

Hey, i have some very good info from a very good source. we all need to get out and vote on april 5th. according to the lastest pool numbers, PC will be the deciding factor in this election. turn out will decide, so lets all get out and vote!!!

please put all thoes past elections behind us and focus on this one. this election means sending a member of our community to DC... not sure if any body understands how important this is for this to happen. this will be a redefining moment for New Roads adn the parish despite the recent bad press we have had the sheriffs election. let not get into that lets focus on htis and get out and vote

if you dont vote, dont complain!!!!!!!!!

I agree, we all need to get out and vote on April 5th and it is very important for someone from our parish winning the congress seat and going to DC, but, what kind of "recent bad press" did Pointe Coupee have during the sheriff's election? The only "bad press" that I can't think of is the lawsuit with PRS and his nephew. I also know that Bud "made history" winning this election, so that is certainly not "bad" press. So, can you refresh our memories with anything else we may have missed in reference to "bad press"?
