It's not a 'Democratic-run Senate'; its a Democrat-run Senate. Besides that, did we expect anything better from Øbama, a president that can't get his own budget to pass his Democrat-run Senate and who is unwilling to tackle the debt and deficit except through tax hikes?

That was a no-brainer, produced by a no-brainer, just like last year when Øbama's no-brainer budget got not a single vote.

a "budget" that only has spending and no plans for revenue increases is not a serious budget that addresses the looming debt crisis.

it's time to kick out these Grover Norquist GOPTEA baggers who only know how to spend but are too chicken to raise the revenue needed to restore our fiscal house.

==========
The GOP proposal also protects defense spending by undoing a scheduled $55 billion cut in the Pentagon budget, replacing the reduction with cuts elsewhere. Ryan has previously called the scheduled Pentagon cuts -- part of the agreement reached in last summer's Budget Control Act -- "devastating to America's defense capabilities."

On Thursday, Ryan said senior military officials defending lower Pentagon spending proposals have not been honest.

"We don't think the generals are giving us their true advice," he said, accusing them of following an administration line.

umm...ok. spend spend spend spend. then spend some more. time to pay up. no? oh those liberal GOPTEA birthers...

With nobama's proposed budget being voted down 414-0 including thumbs down from the democrats, looks like it's the far left nutballs in the senate and whitehouse getting kicked out!! LMAO

LOL, after years of you ignorant right-wingers purposefully mispronouncing the name of the Democratic Party it must be frustrating to realize that everyone with a brain is disregarding your stupidity as juvenile and silly. But hey, give it another few years… and maybe it might catch on… with a few more idiot right-wing nuts, LOL.

I hope the Ryan budget fiasco does become a major campaign issue. It will be the final nail in the Republican coffin.

The GOPTEA birthers have a credibility problem. No one believes for a second that they our out to bring down the debt. America has realized that they only serve Grover Norquist and the 1%.

The lost the 2008 election. They failed to win the senate in the mid-term 2010 elections when the majority party historically switches. This trend will continue in 2012. America is not easily fooled.

If they have any chance of winning they are going to have to start realizing that the majority of America does not make more than $250K a year.

Go ahead, keep trying to spin this one liberals. The truth is that the GOP House has disproven the accusations of "do-nothing" by passing a serious budget proposal that will cut trillions of dollars from the deficit and make much needed reforms to out-of-control entitlement programs. The Democrats have no such proposals, only to tax the rich in order to spend more and more.

You can whine about the "1%" all you want but here in America we don't believe in persecuting an unpopular minority and scapegoating them for all the country's problems. Maybe you would have preferred living in Hitler's Germany.

It's about as "serious" as me saying, "we'll cut spending and reduce the debt".

look up the term "lip service". then re-visit the Bush GOP budgets. then i have a magic rock to sell you that keeps polar bears away.(but only if you live in hawaii).
