Scott how do you know that I am wrong when you obviously never read my post? I stated that Bush DID change the CRA in '05 and you begin your post by saying he tried to change it. That link I believe was for '03, you need to move up a few years.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the San Francisco Democrat whose leadership,,,, "In my own state of California, officials including the governor are urgently calling for federal legislation to avoid economic catastrophe." ( oh just her state only hMMMM) Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., promised more work: "We'll be back next year to do serious surgery on the financial structure.(oh next year,, well it was so important to past a bill with in a week but next year maybe we forget what took place. So you can kept Fannie and Freddie as your personal banks) a Campbell Democrat, moments after the vote. "We felt we had to do something, even if we were not happy about it." (well we are not happy either and you will not look into this matter until next year.) Democrats Barbara Lee of Oakland and Lynn Woolsey of Santa Rosa — switched to support it Friday. Lee said she objected to bailing out Wall Street banks but was convinced that "people will suffer great pain. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's decision to add the tax package to the bailout bill Wednesday, and send it to the House as a "take it or leave it" Silicon Valley:$18.5 billion in tax credits for power generated by solar, wind and other renewable sources,,, Also inserted into the modified Bill by two Oregon senators 39-cent tax break for an Oregon firm that makes children’s wooden arrows Also in the revised Bill is $128 million of tax relief for the manufacturers of car racing tracks, aimed at congressmen in Nascar states, such as Virginia and North Carolina. A provision to give $10 million in tax breaks to small television and film producers could convert a congressman from Los Angeles. It includes tax breaks for: rum producers in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands; producers of wooden arrows used for children's toys; film and television producers; Indian tribes; railroads; "Domestic Production Activities" in Puerto Rico; and auto-racing tracks. A total of $100 billion worth of pork, and they did not forget us either they gave us.. It includes legislation protecting more than 20 million taxpayers from the alternative minimum tax this year,
The democrat at their best. God bless them for protect us American.. With out them we would not be in this mess.. The pork-barrel politics the Senate handed the House now give Republicans no choice but to pass it or more problem with our econmy heck a price to pay when you don’t have the control of the houses of congress or the seanate.. I am sure glad that we love the democrats so much.. hey this okay with us.. we love the democrats so much they can give us the shaft anytime. Freddie and fannie paye these top 5 people money remember the democrat party cares about you and me..

Do you want to know.. How would Barack Obama pay for the $800 billion that John McCain claimed in the first presidential debate Sept. 26 in Oxford, Miss., that his Democratic opponent would spend if he were elected president? Obama replied, by "closing tax loopholes."
answer ;; Obama was no more specific in the debate, and tax experts doubt that structural changes without increasing taxes can raise anything close to that amount of money
Do you want to know;; Obama's tax plan, full of imbalances and outright whoppers. For instance, the article notes that Obama "is fighting the widespread perception that he would jack up tax rates upon taking office."
answer ;;; It's hardly a widespread perception—Obama himself has said over and over that he would raise taxes on the top 5 percent of earners. So is it any wonder that a candidate who has pledged to raise taxes on one group stokes fears that he'll also raise others?
Do you want to know;;; Obama has proposed increases in every major federal tax. He has proposed to increase individual income taxes, with the top rate to rise to almost 40 percent. He has proposed to increase the top capital-gains tax rate by 33 percent. He has proposed the same for the top tax rate on dividends. He has proposed to increase payroll taxes, with a rate increase of 16 percent to 32 percent for workers earning over $250,000 a year. He has proposed to reinstate the death tax (estate tax), now phasing out under current law, with a top rate of 45 percent. He has proposed several increases in corporate taxes, including a so-called windfall-profits tax on oil.
Answer;;; do you own the following.. stocks, bonds, saving accounts, c d, and also expecting an estate well you following into this tax bracket regardless how much money you make…
Do you want to know;; Clean coal technology needs to be a key part of the nation's energy mix in the future. So do increased drilling for domestic reserves of oil and gas, along with use of new technology to extract fuel from sources such as oil shale. And, there is no reason why nuclear energy cannot play a bigger role.
Answer;;; All of those things seem obvious to thoughtful Americans - but not to Sen. Barack Obama and liberals in Congress. Their energy policy leads off with conservation, which may save some fuel but won't provide an additional drop of it. It proceeds to taxing the dickens out of oil companies, to provide tax relief to families struggling to cope with high energy costs. Again, that won't provide any new fuel - to the contrary, it would eliminate incentives for the private sector to find and market more oil, gas and other forms of energy.
Do you want to know;; It appears that Obama's relationship with the catholic priest Michael Pfleger goes much further than an ugly stump speech in his former home church
Answer;;; "Obama got a $225,000.00 earmark for Pfleger'’s church when Obama was in the state legislature in Illinois." Pfleger also donated to Obama state senate campaigns, to the tune of $1,500 between 1995 and 2001
Do you want to know;; Barack Obama touts himself as the only presidential candidate not corrupted by Washington politics
Answer;;; his earmark record contradicts that because he tried steering millions of federal dollars to his wife’s employer and the company of a top campaign donor. Recently released earmarks reveal that the Democratic presidential candidate requested $1 million for the hospital that employs his wife Michelle and $8 million for a military contractor with a board member who has given hefty sums to his campaign.

last one for you tonight

Do you want to know;; FactCheck.Org , has made a bombshell admission...Barack Obama was once a citizen of Kenya. You read that right, Obama had Kenyan citizenship until 1982. Here is the startling admission published in Fight the Smears
Answer;;; Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.. PHILADELPHIA — Presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee filed a joint motion in federal court Wednesday to dismiss a lawsuit challenging the Illinois senator to prove he's a citizen of the United States. In a press statement circulated Wednesday by Berg's law office, the attorney insisted the Democratic candidate was born in Africa and thus ineligible to run for president.
"It is obvious that Obama was born in Kenya and does not meet the 'qualifications' to be president of the United States pursuant to our United States Constitution. Obama cannot produce a certified copy of his 'Vault'(version) Birth Certificate from Hawaii because it does not exist," the press release reads.

Is the truth important to you? I am very interested in the truth and I thought that the bill that deregulated the industry was to blame. I have read some things that say I am wrong. I freely admit that, be a man and do the same. Quit trying to lay the blame squarely on the shoulders of the democrats because you would be wrong. Just like blaming the entire situation on the republicans is wrong. Read this link and you may or may not admit that it is not a situation that can be layed at anyone groups feet. Just like it will take both parties to work together to put America back together again.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/jane-smiley/wil ...

Jane Smiley of the Huffington Post tried to ironically point out that John McCain is just as relatable to Bill Ayers as Barack Obama. How did she do this? She compared Bill Ayer's "patriotic" acts of terrorism to John McCain's service in Vietnam. Smiley says, "Every time I think of William Ayers, I also think of John McCain, because they are of the same era, and they both believed in the efficacy of violence." And that is just the first line, folks.

This is the liberal love for our military. Comparing a Navy pilot to a terrorist bomber. Only a Democrat can come up with crap like this.

An oversized bureaucracy and bloated liberal government, corrupt with power would certainly want you to believe that deregulation is to blame.

On the flip side, an oversized bureaucracy and bloated "conservative" (more moderate) government, corrupt with power would certainly want you to believe that bad lending is to blame.

Deregulation is not a bad thing in a free-market economy when proper oversight exists to stem greed - but when greed starts at the level of oversight, there's a fundamental problem. Many, many failures have occurred to lead to this mess but why is nobody attacking the Federal Reserve's affect and debasing of the value of the dollar since 1913?!? Why is nobody concerned that the Feds are going to lower interest rates to "reflate" the economy -- when the margin is already low? AND why has nobody noticed or complained loudly that the economy has not responded as the government told us it would -- fact is, it's the government that made the problem and further meddling is only exacerbating it.

Our current two-party system is a farce and has blinded you (and others) to the notion that Obama and McCain are "the best" candidates to lead this nation. That's laughable (at best), but third party candidates who can truly lead this country are shunned to the fringe by those in power. Instead of it "taking both parties", how about we throw out both parties and look to the third party candidates who get it?

ACORN Vegas Office Raided in Voter Fraud

Investigation

ACORN's Las Vegas headquarters has been raided by Nevada authorities looking for evidence of voter fraud.

Nevada state authorities seized records and computers Tuesday from the Las Vegas office of an organization that tries to get low-income people registered to vote, after fielding complaints of voter fraud.

Bob Walsh, spokesman for the Nevada secretary of state's office, told FOXNews.com the raid was prompted by ongoing complaints about "erroneous" registration information being submitted by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN.

The group was submitting the information through a voter sign-up drive known as Project Vote.

"Some of them used nonexistent names, some of them used false addresses and some of them were duplicates of previously filed applications," Walsh said, describing the complaints, which largely came from the registrar in Clark County, Nev.
