House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is like the pot calling the kettle black. She has no defense for her own failures since day one when she took office.

not that I am too fond of Bush's admin. but what has Pelosi and her congress accomplished? Has she handled the Laura Richardson fiasco? nope. All politicians are a bunch of liars and cheats. Some are infinitely worse than others and have caused the loss of U.S. lives. We need a new party...actually two new parties, get rid of the demos and the repubs!

Agree 100% Seal Beacher......Frankly, I see NO DIFFERENCE between the Republicans and Democrats, however, I have more problems with the Democratic Party in general....They were elected into power to CHANGE what was going happening in Washington and instead of doing good for us, they've done NOTHING to improve government. Except to make HUGE FOOLS out of themselves and those of us who voted them in office "to send a message".....and Yes, Diaper, I do plan to vote Ron Paul....here's hoping most of America does the same

Pelosi is right-on on this issue. After Bush, any Republican with any sense of shame should be crawling under an outhouse and staying there for the next 50 years or so.

Who would want to spend 50 years under an outhouse with Kucinich and Reed?

Lets see George Bush as President, lead our country out of 9/11 and into the expansion of the economy, fighting the terrorist in their country instead of ours, removed brutal dictators, kept a N. Korean leader with a god awful perm in check, among other things.

And Nancy Pelosi has not impeached him, even though she promised her constituents she would, and hasn't done much of anything else she promised to.......

Oh forgive me, she helped lead the democrats to create statements which oppossed the Iraq war, which held no power of law.........

And then she approved funding for the war she spent countless meaningless hours oppossing.

In short the pot calling the kettle black.

My favorite Nancy Pelosi story goes back to the minimum wage bill the Dems had passed early in 2007.

It seems that all U.S. soverign states and territories got a wage increase except the Pacific Island mandates such as Guam and Amer. Somoa.
This ' special exemption ' seemed to have appeared out of nowheres in the middle of the night.

Doing some research it seems that the largest employer in the islands is Del Monte Foods the major employer in tuna processing canneries .
Which is HQ'd in San Francisco in Nancy's district..........oh well , I'm sure she thinks she is a champion of the poor and down trodden but those folks don't get to vote in national elections anyway. So obviuosly they really don't count.
But her neighbors and friends who are execs at Del Monte surely do.

Sorry Songbookz, but Nancy Pelosi should be filled with shame. Her actions as House speaker, seem traitorous. She arrogantly uses her position to bully & rally (not the troops) but her own selfish agenda. Her trip to Syria(?) was it, to investigate & denounce our President's actions. Very traitorous to Our Country in a time of war especially. I Know we're lucky not to have Dennis Kucinich in the running,'cause he also took a trip & met with Syria's President (I forget his name) but I'll never forget how he apologized to their country for our occupation in this war, & how he said it was illegal for us to be there. Never have congressional representatives been so bold as to not take heed for sake of Our Country. Sorry, but Our Country should Be Honored~ and not Cursed by the people who sit in those seats. May I at this pt. say I couldn't ignore the fact that they both are seated at the left.

Well, let see now and look into the news for just this week. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac needing public funds for a bailout. Back in 2001 Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were called to the carpet on the fact that they were cooking the book. Since then and on an annual basis, the Bush Administration called on Congress to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The catch is you need to come up with 60 Senators to bring anything to a vote. 7 years later here we are. Yeah, that must mean Bush is a failure. Pelosi says no energy policy. HUH? She meant not an energy policy she liked. She rejected them all. Thank you Nancy, no offshore drilling , no new nuclear, no new refineries, and still the bush administration has spent more on new government grants to scientists working on new battery technologies, biofuel technology, nanotechnology, solar panel technology, wind technology than all presidents that came before him together. And yet, he didn't have a policy? Some would say, well, we don't have any in production yet. Yes, but that's only because technology takes time to develop and still longer to bring it to production. Otherwise, you have the type of subsidizing of ethanol that Midwest congressmen have supported. Bush and a few congressmen have been in support of dropping the tariffs on sugar based Brazillian ethanol, but no.....congress is full of subsidizing back scratching scumbags, like Pelosi. I have more to say, but am tired.

bush and his administration are losers and total failures. pelosi and the democratic party have stood up to this president and rejected bills that he proposed. because bush has put this country in so much debt that our grandchildren will be paying for it. no more rubber stamps by republicans approving this presidents bills. i pray that our children and grandchildren can handle the debt placed upon them by this failed administration.

No that one we blame on the ignorant Republican without the brains to properly store garden tools.

Bush ain't the only ignorant Republican, he's just the festering ooze on the surface of the whole malignant mess we call Republicans.

SongBookz, Just my 2cents, but the Democrats aren't any better....The quality of Politicians is just beyond pathetic right now and I can't stomach voting either one of the candidate running for President, Republican or Democratic. I held my nose and voted Gore and Kerry because I thought they'd be better choices then Bush Jr, embarrassingly enough, I voted for his father and HATED him as President. He (Bush senior) ended up a one termer and I still to this day don't understand why anyone would think his son would be any better, shoot, look at how he screwed up Texas or all his business failure and people actually thought he'd make a good President and some still do? I'd never of voted for Nancy Pelosi, either, she's even more of a embarrassment and frankly, just a flat out LIER to the people who voted her party into office. I WILL NOT be voting in a candidate from either party into office next November, instead, I will seek a third party candidate (so far Ron Paul has secured my vote)....I hope most of American follows me..........
