Guess what? This year is different. In many ways. Many of the "typicals" are not so anymore. There will be a lot of "Gee, we didn't expect that" come November.
In this current election the Federal Election Commission has recorded that Obama is certainly leading McCain in fund raising from military members. Obama has raised more than $327,000 from openly military service members, which is about a hundred grand more than the $224,000 that McCain has received from the same military community.
Food for thought.
What a screen name.

No, but you obviously did.......what possible facts do you have that prove this out......some reduced violence short-term?...a few bridges built? WHAT? With all of the ridiculous money and resources we have essentially wasted over there, I would certainly hope there are SOME good things happening (one cannot screw up EVERYTHING). Doesn't make it a success, especially given the money spent.
What price would you put on establishing a democratic form of government in the heart of the hornets nest, the middle east? What price? You keep worrying about the "money spent". We have wasted nothing. Our long term (if you can see that far) benefits from this endeavor are beyond comprehension, especially yours. You are the typical liberal, you want everything today, right now, and it better be free.

In fact lets ask Sandy Berger what was in those files he stole, or uh took by mistake, and uh lost or uh destroyed or uh whatever. We have a president to hate so don't be hittin us with no o' them facts Willis.
The "truth" is, the CLINTON administration let everyone of the hijackers into this country, allowed them to take flying lessons, was warned by an FBI agent, and did NOTHING. NOTHING!

On July 8, 2008, Rasmussen reported that the approval rating for the Democratic Congress was at an all time low – 9 percent. For Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) that is apparently not low enough. That same report indicated that 72 percent of the American people believe that members of the Democratic Congress are more concerned about furthering their own political careers than they are serving the interest of the people who put them in office. Harry Reid is working to make sure his self interest number increases. Let me explain.

Americans -- by a 3-1 margin -- believe that runaway fuel prices are the most immediate problem this Democratic Congress should resolve. I believe the American people – if asked - would tell Congress not to take a vacation in August, while gas prices continue to soar. Instead of addressing the rising gas prices last week the Senate was busy creating an additional $50 billion deficit to treat aids victims in Africa.

WOW the approval rating of the Democratic Congress is even lower then Bush's!

you are majorly clueless and ill informed....Clinton balanced the budget.......Bush was borrowing in an attempt to balance the same. Your economic fundamentals are beyond juvenile.
Did you conveniently forget that your beloved Clinton raided the Social Security trust fund for $158 billion in order to balance his budget?

Or is it purely an assumption?
Frankly, I doubt anyone on any of these blogs could accuratley describe the what the Obama administration will be - Liberal, Republican or other.

An Obama administration would be representative of his current work in congress. Here is some important legislation sponsored by the messiah, Barrack Obama;
1. A concurrent resolution honoring the life of Percy Lavon Julian, a pioneer in the field of organic chemistry and the first and only African-American chemist to be inducted into the National Academy of Sciences.
2. A concurrent resolution condemning the recent violent actions of the Government of Zimbabwe against peaceful opposition party activists and members of civil society.
3. A concurrent resolution expressing the sense of Congress that a commemorative postage stamp should be issued honoring Rosa Louise McCauley Parks.
4. A concurrent resolution supporting the goals and ideals of Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month.
5. A resolution celebrating the life of Bishop Gilbert Earl Patterson.
6. A resolution honoring and recognizing the achievements of Carl Stokes, the first African-American mayor of a major American city, in the 40th year since his election as Mayor of Cleveland, Ohio.
7. A bill to assist aliens who have been lawfully admitted in becoming citizens of the United States, and for other purposes.
8. A bill to amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to authorize grant programs to enhance the access of low-income African-American students to higher education.
9. A bill to provide for the issuance of a commemorative postage stamp in honor of Rosa Parks.
10. A bill to make grants to carry out activities to prevent the incidence of unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections among teens in racial or ethnic minority or immigrant communities.

You can make your own conclusion.

There was no historic proof for electricity, light, telephone or the Internet. Wake up dude!!!
Your only hope is 100 years of PROVEN energy technology which is OIL. Resistance is futile!
And after 100 years???

Lets face it China's demand is the real problem from 1% to 13% in the last 20 years (25% in 10 years). Drilling ain't gonna solve this, conserving and an alternate will. If we lead in an alternative source of energy, those 700 billion we give the Saudis'(Bin Laden) will be coming to us.

Why won't big oil max the drilling were they're already allowed???

Wind works and so does solar, except solar is too expensive right now. City Public Service of San Antonio produces more wind power than any other municaply owned utility in the US.
CPS Energy’s current wind-generation capacity of 501 megawatts comes not only from the Desert Sky Wind Farm but also from the Cottonwood Creek Wind Farm near Sweetwater. Later this year, CPS Energy will become the first energy company in Texas to acquire wind power from the first wind farm on the Texas coast. The company has signed a 15-year agreement to purchase 75 MW from the Peñascal Wind Farm that’s currently under construction a mile inland from the coastline on the Kenedy Ranch just south of Baffin Bay near Sarita.
