I like McCain & I hope he don't think the same as the rest of Republicans who suck up for drilling more domestic oil.
The Republicans believe that producing more domestic oil & use less is the answer to the gas price crisis.President George Bush announced at the state of the Union 3-4 years ago that Americans are addictive to gasoline. Well, just like saying to Americans, here have some more drugs & cocaine but you need to use less. The Republicans thinks that Americans are that stupid or maybe the Republicans is right.
I can't depend on Obama in protecting our great nation. But I'm out of work right now & Democrats is the only one cares about the economy & on how I can put food on my family table & pay my bills.Do I really give a crap about war in Iraq?
Well, you are sort of right, just getting congress to start talking about drilling, and exploring has scared off some of the speculators and bright the prices down in mid season. We do need to start drilling, and makeing new refineries, to keep reducing the price more. We also need to give incentative to companies for alternative energy sources, such as, wind, solar, hydrogen, thermal, and on and on. If we listen to the dumb Democrats, raise taxes on gas, we will all be bankrupt in the next four years. Sure we may cut back on use in our private cars but what about moving our food, our furniture, our clothes and other daily items? The prices will kill all of America. We need to drill, drill and drill some more while at the same time start developing alternative sources and putting them into our trucks, cars and airplanes.

Don't fool yourself into thinking EITHER party cares about you. If either party really cared we wouldn't be in the mess we are in. Both parties have had their chance to straighten things up but have failed to do so. Every time we elect a different party they are worse than the ones we put out.

Mojo, stop to think, just prior to every election, there are the nay sayers that always say, what a mess we are in. It does not make any difference who is in office. The negative comments came out against FDR, Truman, Ike,JFK, and on and on. We always survive and the complainers are alway happy if there man or woman wins, however, the other parties says, "What a mess we are in". It is as if something really bad has happened. I think nay sayers, and negative comments should be dropped from any news outlets and only report on the positives, what are the two new people going to work on? What will out governement look like in four years? Sorry, I just get tired of listening to all the negative talk as we loose sight of where we are going in this world.

When a party of either side gets elected and does good things for America, I won't nag anymore. just like now the canidates (both of them) care more about illegals than the legals.
Not since Kenndy gave his speech about--Ask not what your country can do for you but what can you do for your country-- has anyone really cared. No I didn't vote for the man but by the grace of GOD the man stood for America and I liked him.

You must not be a cuban freedom fighter that JFK left in the bay to be either shot, wounded or if lucky taken prisoner. He was a very sick man. I wss a Marine during his short term and I cannot say, I was sad to see him go. Even if it was harsh. Like I said before, no matter who is in the Presidental office, someone will hate him and spew nasty words to try and convince the rest of the country that if, "I dislike the President" every one else should. Our newsmedia is owned by the British and it is so biased that I do not keep my television on after March of each year, it stays off until football season in September.

A lot of the vile lanuage on this site is due to the era of when we had the old motto of "Just do it" We never tried to say make sure it is right, "just do it". We took away the ability of teachers to disapline, of Parents to disapline, and taught our children that if we want to do something and our parent think it is wrong then call the police and cry, "Parent abuse". Sad but true.
