Romney hates the massacre of innocent migrating birds.

Loud, aesthetically criminal bird blenders masquerading as property value killers are on his hit list.

Why is this news? He's doing birds and people a favour.

Our lives will be so much better in January. No more chaos with government taking over our lives more, and mre each day. Look a N Y. Everyday that crazy Bloomberg bans something else. Now he is asking Hospitals to lock up baby formula so they can force mothers to breast feed their infants. He is a real loon.

Clearly you haven't watched the TV or read the news. If you have, you would have realized that this isn't a mandate, it is optional, and 76% of hospitals have voluntarily agreed to support this- that should tell you something right there.

Everyone knows that breastfeeding is preferred over baby formula...what, now our doctors can't make recommendations? What part of this is "forcing"?

When you lock up the baby formula, and the nurse has to give the Hospitals a medical reason why the mother cannot breast feed that is not a mothers choice. It is Bloombergs mandate. Not going to happen. Mothers will decide for themselves, and some one is going to be sued!!! I think Bloomy smokes to much whacky tobacky. He is not making any sense. Every day he find something else to ban!! He is a kook.

It is not enough that Romney is exposing his naïve understanding of Main Street and his inability to understand the ethical investments required by foreign diplomacy. Now he enters into a field of which he is totally ignorant of. Once again he shows just out of touch he is with Main Street USA.
His support of the oily robber barons with their coaly radioactive toxic waste energies is no longer finding appreciation as an energy investment for our future.
Single energy spigot has demonstrated just how corrupt a system can evolve to under the tutelage of cronyism. Now “We The People” are forced to pay ransoms, provide welfare [subsides] to these archaic energy systems that pay no taxes! If we do not, they will shut down the USA!
Time has come to remove our cronies from their perches on the spigots of our society. They own the polls, many of the candidates and law makers, much of the media, propaganda galore 24/7 and through it all, I have faith in the Independence Of The American Main Street laborers. They will see through this sham of the cronies and vote them out and strengthen our goals to be Independent of their spigots.
Support of the grassroots entrepreneurs, be it in, yuck, banking, politics, organic gardens, Ma and Pa shoe stores, Uncle Ted’s bait and fishing store, Mike’s hardware, and so on and so on. It is time we return to our roots with a clean renewable Independent energy source.
Forward to the Main Street of yesteryear. Bustling, thriving communities with technologies and education sufficient enough to keep the cronies at a distance. Keep their grubby hands off our Main Street Community. We will not bail them ever again. Their gratitude is, for the last bail out, sorely inefficient.
Now how about our National Anthem for a closing to this comment.
http://OFA.BO/g8usYZ See ya on Main Street USA on Nov 6th 2012. I’ll be standing next to the gazebo. Give me a shout…

I have spend a large amount of time researching wind energy and wether or not it is a source that can help meet energy demands. My research is more focused on Texas, number one in the U.S. in wind capability. I found many problems with wind energy, first the benefits have not be scientifically proven. In my research I found proponents for wind energy are making empty claims concerning the benefits without facts to back up the claims. Second, the cost of wind energy out weighs the benefits. The cost untimely is placed on the consumers in their electric bills. Part of this cost are transmission lines that are required inorder to get the processed wind energy to consumers. In Texas this project has already cost $7 billion. Third, wind energy is unreliable, when energy is needed the most, during summer months, wind blows less, this is not helping to meet energy demands. The U.S. needs a reliable energy source that is researched and proven, we need to stop wasting time and money on a energy source that is falling short.
While, I do not support wind energy I do support the federal tax credit. It is important to understand that the tax credit is for all alternative energy sources not just wind. Wind is a waste of time, money and space, it is not helping to improve any aspect of our lives.

You have researched? Must have had your blinders on. I can see your just another oily coaly radioactive toxic wasted troll. I’ll briefly touch on one area you may enjoy going there to research . Los Vegas, Just out side of town they built a “trough solar energy field” that produced 250 MW of power to help supplement their energy demands. After a couple of years they decided to expand it to 500MW. Two more 500MW plants are presently in construction to supplement California’s utilities grids. That was a few months ago. In as that it takes less than a year to build at less cost of an oil coaly radioactive plant that would produce 500MW, they may already be on line. Green energy is blooming and spreading like wildfire through out the world.
Obama’s investments in the research and development of these multitudes of alternative energy sources is now taking root in thousands of entrepreneurs coming out of the wood work. Carter was the first to begin investments in the alternative energy sector. Reagan comes in and destroys it and yells from the parapets oil, oil,.. Would have be a different story today if we had continued with Carter’s Green energy goals. Renewable and non Toxic. Independent of the centralized spigots of energy that are controlled by the cronyism robber barons. Their limited sources and logistics dispersal are being incorporated or discarded due to their archaic toxic systems. You have a long, long way to go in your education. Simple deductions would easily illuminate to you the frailty of your conclusion.

Solar is good

Wind is bad.

I was only half joking in my post above.

They do really slaughter birds en masse, make horrible noise, destroy property values, and are a blight on the landscape.

Stick with solar, wind is a loser.

Your assertion of mass killings of birds has more than once proven to be false. LOL Denmark would be bird less by now by your standards. Wind turbines presently are more efficient per KWH than solar. They can be used to compliment each other for greater efficiency to the grid.
As to the noise. Earlier versions were had more noise than what is being produced today with new propeller designs that are more quite. Some are vertical that go on high rises. None have yet to be heard. Others are on Mountain Tops where the wind is louder than the windmill. Others are out at sea where there is no one to hear them. Some are in the backyards of residents. They knew what to expect. Even then the noise level is less than the traffic on the street. So before spouting out your nonsense actually go and listen to one and count the birds.

Windmills kill nearly half a million birds a year, according to a Fish and Wildlife estimate. The American Bird Conservancy projected that the number could more than double in 20 years if the administration realizes its goal for wind power. For years, the wind energy industry has had a license to kill golden eagles and lots of other migratory birds.
Over the past two decades, the federal government has prosecuted hundreds of cases against oil and gas producers and electricity producers for violating some of America's oldest wildlife-protection laws: the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and Eagle Protection Act.
But the Obama administration has never prosecuted the wind industry despite myriad examples of widespread, unpermitted bird kills by turbines.
Last June, the Los Angeles Times reported that about 70 golden eagles are being killed per year by the wind turbines at Altamont Pass, about 20 miles east of Oakland, Calif. A 2008 study funded by the Alameda County Community Development Agency estimated that about 2,400 raptors, including burrowing owls, American kestrels, and red-tailed hawks—as well as about 7,500 other birds, nearly all of which are protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act—are being killed every year by the turbines at Altamont.
So keep on pushing on this "green energy" while species are going extinct because people refuse to see the main reason why we are running out of fuel: OVERPOPULATION. We shouldn't focus on how we can rape our planet of more resources we should focus on reducing the world population and then all the problems will be solved.

It appears that you did not fully read my posting, I clearly state that I am a proponent for alternative energy, if you don't know what that means, it means I support alternative energy. My goal for alternative energy is to loosen and hopefully end the need for oil. But this is not going to be done with an alternative energy source that is not sufficient. More research needs to go into finding an alternative energy source that is reliable, produces large amounts of electricity, and can provide dispatchable electricity. Wind does not meet any of these requirements. You should look up John Droz, Jr and go to his web site it is very informative. As for the federal tax credit that Romney is against, I am for renewing because it is needed to help support other alternative energy, it is not limited to wind alone.
