first and foremost - there is very little at stake remaining to be picked over insofar as the electorate is concerned!! stimulous - bailouts - takeovers of insurance - banking - gen mtrs!!- while the resumes of those seeking office and well polished -a peek into the character and record of those seeking reelection (for the most part) fall short of what we expect from these politicos!! the beltway has sucked out of the electorate just about everything once held as imperative to the well-being of the country!!
