as an Illinoisan we all know that Chicago is the only city in the country that has a total ban on firearms possesion.
Illinois and Wisconsin remain the last two states with no concealed carry or reciprocity state codes.
Illinois is perilously behind the times when it comes to verifying its armed citizens.
With all due respect to Senator McCain ...
he did and will continue to sponsor legislation banning firearm shows ....
on of his objections to the shows is a hostile to the first amendment ....
He doesnt like them because the shows attracts and encourage "political speech".
Regardless of his distinguished service during Nam I am disheartens to see him carry on about the Patriot Act or the Mccain feingold act ...
Its obvious when reading the DHS domestic terrorist lexicon that the agency is suffering from the influences of whatever the current admins
agenda might be .The bulletin is also adopted by the FBI and it reads like a political enemies list .
That was the original criticism of the patriot act
and nothing short of abolishment will ever cure the abrogation of the constitution by those who
adopt and abuse sh!tty legislation like the patriot act.
