Soon to be Senior
United States

Under Obama's plan, Senior Citizens are throw away. They won't be able to get the meds and treatments they need to survive. Those who are on treatment for diabetes, cancer, and other serious issues will be left with no care to die. Many of these people are still productive tax payers. People cannot afford to live on the money they are paid now. They are having to work longer and longer to be able to survive. The will not, however, be able to get care. It is already getting that way now. Doctors don't ask what is wrong, they just throw pills at them that don't help and send them on their way. With Obama's plan, they won't see the doctors or be able to get the pills.

REFORM HEALTH INSURANCE
Tulsa, OK
|
Tax credits do not help anyone with no tax liability to buy health insurance. My businessman brother suffered sales losses during our economic recession. When diagnosed with malignant melanoma this year, he was too young for medicare and too sick for individual insurance approval. Last year he had no tax liability from business losses, so no tax credit would have enabled him to buy insurance. Presidential candidate John McCain told us that he was healthy enough to serve as our president. His government health insurance paid for treatment of his malignant melanoma. Congressman John Sullivan's government health insurance paid for his rehabilitation. My businessman brother had no health insurance. He died from his treatable but uninsured illness. He cries out from the grave for health insurance reform NOW.
