Oh please...1. I have health insurance and always have provided such to my family. So if I'm sick and or dying, I'll receive care period. At the doctor of my choosing, location and facility of my choice anywhere in the United States. If people that are sick now and dying don't have insurance they can walk into any public hospital in the nation and can not be denied (at my expense).
2. Have you read the proposal? Selective processing for individuals..should you become sick at say 80 and need a bi-pass....it will be on a graduating scale factoring in your remainder years of life. So if the surgery needed costs 50K and you (by the governments calculations) should only have 2 more years projected...you won't get that surgery because it isn't cost effective.
Tort reform would do wonders in lowering the costs associated with skyrocketing medical bills and premiums.
Jesus isn't writing the reform bill or maybe Obama thinks he is..who knows. Sorry.
You may have insurance. That isn't a guarantee that you will receive care. Your insurance company CAN deny to provide you with specific medication, treatment or therapy.

It doesn't sound like you have lived long enough to understand what I am talking about. Eventually, you will experience it first hand.

If a person is on fixed retirement income and according to US/Federal income guidelines, his income is on the poverty level, he cannot actually afford to pay the Medicare premium and pay for health insurance out of his monthly income.

The Medicare premium is somewhere around $100.00 per month. While I have Medicare as a backup for emergency purposes, the premium is paid for from federal monies through OK State DHS' Medicaid program.

A disabled and/or retired person who is drawing a poverty level Social Security pension each month should get free total whole health care. That includes not only the medical, but, the dental, hearing and vision care, too.

And furthermore, a disabled and/or retired US Military Veteran who is drawing a poverty level Social Security Pension and/or VA Improved Pension each month should get free total whole health care. That includes not only the medical, but, the dental, hearing and vision care, too.

The VA does now give free glasses to any veteran who has his eyes examined in a vision clinic now.

I hear what you are saying and the primary reason our government should NOT manage health care is because "cost effective" is NOT in their vocabulary!

Unless George W. Bush and Dick Cheney and members of the Bush Administration have repented of declaring a war against a country which had never declared war on, or attacked, the USA, they will have to give account for what they did on Judgment Day.
Lots of people claiming to be "Christian" joined the US Military to kill Iraqis because they were ignorant of the fact that hundreds of thousands of Christians live in Iraq, too.
Most of the people complaining about the ACORN organization know almost nothing or absolutely nothing about it.
yep, I was right, under your bed. Last year when the liberals were gathering, shouting waving signs they claimed they were being patriotic. There is not one iota of difference for individuals to stand up to lies and prevaracations from politicans, especially since they work for US. To deny these people are mostly individuals that have just had enough of this crooked bunch of tax cheats, gangsters and union thugs that are doing many things against the constitution. Only the simple minded can not see this as fact or at best are in la la land.

To the clueless folks who don't even know with the little pictures in the "Judge it!" section means:

I posted what I did because I have been drawing a poverty level fixed-income government pension since March 1995.

I started with what was called a VA Non-Service Connected Disability Pension first and when Social Security Disability was approved, it began in July 1997.

The Veterans Administration has changed the name of the original pension, which used to be for Vietnam Era Veterans only, to the VA Improved Pension.

If a veteran becomes disabled later in life or his Social Security Pension is less than what the Improved Pension is, the VA will award the person the pension in full monthly payments or it will supplement his Social Security.

Going to a town hall meeting held by a government representative and just asking questions in a polite manner is just fine as far as freedom of speech is concerned.
But, some right-wingers who have their own radio and TV shows encourage going to the meetings held by Democrats and disrupt them.
I think it's the other way around, obama and his crew are sending out unions to disrupt the meetings and start fights to make the American people who oppose health care look bad

There is only one guarantee in life Teasly. DEATH. And with the bill that is being proposed right now that guarantee will come sooner than later.

A bipartisan pair of governors is opposing a new Defense Department proposal to handle natural and terrorism-related disasters, contending that a murky chain of command could lead to more problems than solutions.

Vermont Gov. Jim Douglas (R), chairman of the National Governors Association, and Vice Chairman Gov. Joe Manchin (D) of West Virginia penned a letter opposing the Pentagon proposal, which they said would hinder a state's effort to respond to a disaster.

Current law gives governors control over National Guard forces in their own states as well as any Guard units and Defense Department personnel imported from other states.

The letter comes as the Pentagon proposes a legislative fix that would give the secretary of Defense the authority to assist in response to domestic disasters and, consequently, control over units stationed in an affected state. hmmmmmmmm now Obama's little empire wants control over states National Guard during unrest. hmmmmmmmmmm. Must be his second choice for control since he did not get his private army. Heil Obama.

Amen. Special entrances for unions (to front row seats - especially the minority/hispanic dominated SEIU) and "no room" for those - whomever they may be - average citizens ... to sit.

"Community organizer"(NObama)- Stalin,Lenin & Mao were "community organizers", too BTW.

What's really funny about your post is that there is no bill, only committee reports not written by Obama, and so whoever gave you that information is lying.

That's a lie. Those people there are the same ones who's ancestors cursed women with scarlet letters and burned women at the stake for witch craft.
God forbid something different and better come along. They are too busy listening to the lies, to form there own opinion.

Health care reform is inevitable.
