GOP jumps into stimulus spin game

Full story: Connecticut Post

House Republicans on Friday declared the nation's economic stimulus efforts a "dismal failure." But the convoluted math they used to disparage the recovery is as murky and meaningless as the White House formula championing the stimulus.

Your ignorance is astounding. I am sure you are poor white trash living in a trailer park and you actually would benefit from the "liberal" policies you disparage, you are too pathetic and ignorant to realize it

If Clinton had done this as was suggested by the Reps... then allowing for the operations to go production and facilities built we'd be using oil right now.

I know for a fact that over 20 million jobs have been "created or saved" in Connecticut because of the stimulus.
Yes, we have lost a lot of jobs, but that's nothing compared to the 20 million jobs that have been saved!
That's right - 20 million jobs have been saved! Try to prove I'm incorrect!
You'd think AP, as a so-called news organization (but really a propaganda wing of the Democratic Party) would take the Obama administration to task over its phony "created or saved" measuring stick for jobs, the first time any administration has tried these weasely method of quantifying the effect of a stimulus package.
But AP is more interested in putting GOP comments under the microscope while giving the Obama administration a free pass.
Notice how this AP shill, in his very first paragraph, assumes a "recovery" is taking place! It ain't takin' place, Matt!
No wonder this country's media outlets are going down the toilet. Good riddance.

They call it a jobless recovery.
How do you even define that?
Because entitlement rolls are temporarily extended means the economy is getting better?
What happens when that money is gone?
No jobs have been created, more are only lost.
Obama must go!

Please forgive the typo. It wasn't 20 million, it was 200 million!
That's right! 200 million jobs in Connecticut have been saved because of the stimulus plan! You can't prove me wrong, so I must be right!
If that stimulus plan didn't pass, there would be 200 million fewer jobs in Connecticut - and more than 2 billion fewer jobs in the entire United States!
That's right - 2 billion jobs have been saved! You can't prove me wrong!

Most of the stimulus money has not been allocated yet so give it a rest. Many of the programs are just getting underway.

Are you mentally challenged?
Most of the money is already gone.
9,000 earmarks gobbled up stimulus one.
Mayhaps Obama will read the stimulus 2 bill line by line, like he said he would the first one,and at least cut the campaign pay backs to a point where tax payer money will show up in a tax payers temporary pay check.
My bad,Obama axed e-verify in the stimulus in the 11th hour.
Illegals, once again, advance to the front of the line, compliments of current and future/unborn tax payers.
Thanks Barry!

A certain person is being very feisty and fiery today. You may also suspect that they're looking for an argument and will provoke you until you rise to the bait. Trigger points include shared finances, sex and any topic that is currently supposed to be off-limits. You'll probably discover that you want to clear the air, but don't get carried away.
