Rejection of Rhode Island toll booth proposal pleases Connecticut officials

Rhode Island's plan to finance highway improvements by placing border tolls on Interstate 95 to catch drivers leaving Connecticut has been roadblocked by the Federal Highway Administration.

Perhaps as a fair compromise, instead of Rhode Island attempting to bleed Connecticut Residents and all traffic bound for Cape Cod dry, why not just let Connecticut make a few bucks by putting a toll booth of our own at the foot of Michael Lewis' driveway in Rhode Island.
