People are tired of the corruption, graft and lies. Hurricanes, sure, there a problem, but nothing in comparrison to the junk in Baton Rouge. People are tired of seeing their tax money wasted.
The people used to speak mostly French and were uneducated so the believed what the lies the politicans told them. Now more and more are educated and what they see and hear makes them sick to their stomach. If I could I leave but I own what I have and can't get what I've got in it. So I'm stuck with these ungodly thieves. I'm trying to win as many to Christ as I can, maybe it will change.

I agree with you --Preacher--on all counts.I- as most thought-that the new governor would change some things-- He's too busy running for President to handle the problems we elected him for.-- and he found out it aint't that easy--So its politics as usual. At least we knew Edwards was a little on the shady side-- I guess the whole mess needs changed at one time.Lets not forget that this is a giveaway state--and that brings(shall we say people with both palms up)those not interested in anything but a hand out. Thank You

I really thought Jendal was going to make a difference, but I guess your right. This state will never change. I'm really frustrated with the whole situation.

Daily Horoscope for May 19

Taurus

Life hasn't exactly been plain sailing recently but you're navigating your way through calmer waters again. In fact, you're feeling pretty sunny-tempered and relaxed, and may even wonder what all the fuss was about during the past few days. It's a great excuse to go out on the town, or to visit your favourite restaurant for a relaxing meal.
