Senate approves bailout, Texas Senators vote yes

Texas lawmakers unanimously passed a considerably sweetened $700 billion emergency bailout package Thursday night to rescue banks saddled by shaky mortgage assets.

The squeeky wheel gets the oil.Express your opinion to your congressperson and do it often. Tell them that you will not vote for them if they vote for these pork projects. I know who voted for this and who didn't and I will not vote for those who favored it. My representative did not vote for the bailout either time. It took a lot of courage of conviction to say no the second time and because of this, he has my vote. Stay informed and stay vigilant.
