House passes Iraq war resolution

WASHINGTON - The House of Representatives voted to oppose a troop buildup in Iraq, the first time since the war began nearly four years ago that Congress has gone on record against President Bush's policy.

Im surprised that Congressman Gene Taylor (D-MS), who has championed the cause of the retirees at the Armed Forces Retirement Home, has not lent his voice to those who want no troop escalation in Iraq1.
Well, I can just ask Mr. Taylor if he wants to be re-elected again. He knows that president Bush is wrong to prosecute this war any further yet winces at the chance to tell him to stop!!

Why a non binding resolution?

Peacock feathers is all it is.

Put a binding resolution forward and find out who really stands behind their words.

If it fails it fails, at least you know who the moles are.
