I'd like to see AT&T be required to make good on the agreement made when they purchased BellSouth. Agreement (approved by FCC) indicates that Bellsouth customers in the 22 states effected by the acquisition are to be provided with Fast Access DSL for $10 month! Of course they're not doing so - I checked today the website and DSL is NOT available in my area. Excuse me but if the agreement says it will provide DSL to all customers, then AT&T has had plenty of time to make it available. AND, the 'offer' is BURIED on the AT&T website under: Term Contracts Available. The fiber optic lines are layed - with grant money - and I'm told all that's needed is installation of some type of computer chips in the 'switch boxes'. I hope we can somehow come together and make AT&T provide the service they said they would!
