There's no delay in rebuilding New Orleans. I have friends who were back by Christmas.
The "problem" is the lazy dems you seem so proud of sitting on their butts in fancy hotels on MY TAX DOLLARS instead of going back to New Orleans themselves and helping with the rebuilding process.

I can attest to that! Our young, adult grandson seized the opportunity to sign on with a work crew from Houston and is working in New Orleans....the people who CAME from New Orleans aren't doing this and it was their home...as long as you make the seat so comfortable, why get off of it, huh?

We do feel that we need help as we are seventy and have health issues. My husband has had cancer and back surgery twice and we are trying to save money by doing a lot of things ourself. When I told the SBA people we won't live 30 years to pay this they said that is okay we will settle at probate court. Now that makes you have a warm feeling. I remember how wonderful it was to pay the last note and own the house - now we are starting over and feel we own nothing. My husband is so worried that he would pass away and I wouldn't be able to make the note. Please consider helping us and not just the people with a slab and a house mortgage. Joy, may God bless you and your husband. I sure hope both of you well. William

Loretta you are correct. We are too generous. Look at the people hit by Hurricane Rita. That have not had the help and support from Fema or anyone elso, but that are doing the repairs and such themselves. We need to help them because they are trying to help themselves not sitting there with their hands out for more. William

Pearlington,Ms.,had 30ft of water and the whole town was totally destroyed and wipe off the map'o i forgot we wasn't on the map'.Every resident was left homeless while our president George W"Howdy Dowdy"Bush was standing in front of Trent"Tricky'Lotts home and saying that he had a wonderful home and it's going to be better then ever. But forgot one thing that Tricky Lott can stay anywhere on taxpayers money and that was a slap in the face for the entire coast resident, when we all got some kind of damage, but for us in P-Town we was completely homeless and nothing to eat,and here goes NASA,giving us a tank of gas,so that they could go back to operation, knowing that we didn't have anywhere to,as long as we leave the space center, the bad part about is that NASA have building that they use to make bombs at were they could have let us all stay in instead of put us out like dogs knowing we were homeless, but that show's how the government really is when comes to American people, but they whether dstroy another country and rebuid and spent trillion of taxpayers money instead of spending it here in America, now that FEMA,wants there money back from us but not once they are in Tsunami asking our taxpaying dollars.Howdy Dowdy Bush and FEMA can take a hike up Osama's....s,we are trying to rebuild but they don't want to help us but George W"Howdy Dowdy"Bush is quick to spend on life insureance policy on our troops killing them when they are being in a country for nothing dying every day,he should be at in court like they did Saddem, yes cut his feet off,lip off, hands off and then let him and his twins go to Iraq and find Osama on there oun, because when he leave office we will still be dealing with Howdy Dowdy Oil and Gas just remember it.kennyjholmes@yahoo.com Omaha,Ne displaced after Hurricane Katrina former Pearlington,Ms.,resident
