Obviously you didn't like what I posted, so I'm going to repeat it. The only isolated president in the world is George Bush. He talked recently about strengthening Cuba embargo, and after that in United Nations General Assembly, 184 nations voted against Bush proposals in favor of Cuba. Just 3 countries voted with USA: Israel, Marshall Islands and Palau... By the way, what the hell is Palau?

You seem to be very ignorant, United Nations General Assembly members have just voted against Cuba embargo. The result Cuba 184 votes, USA 4 votes. Just 3 other nations voted with USA: Israel, Marshall Islands and Palau. You mean that USA partners voted against USA?

Jordit...of course UN partners will vote against one another...read the history of the UN...it happens all the time!....what goes on in the assembly of the UN is different than what goes on between nations outside of the UN building...

Yes US partners vote against the US. It happened to Venezuela when Chavez wanted the security council seat and could not get it...

Again, the resolution has been consistently passed for the last 16 years. It is a non-binding slap on the wrist.

that is right you idiot...but it makes a broader statement that Chavez is isolating himself from Europe and civilized nations, and he is aligning himself with the lunatics of the world like Ahmadinajad, that midget in North Korea, Castro, etc....REAL people that have their minds intact reject him....
Venezuela has now relations with more nations than ever before, the real isolated president is George Bush. After Bush talked about strenghtening Cuba embargo, in United Nations General Assembly 184 nations voted to stop it, just 3 nations voted with USA: Israel, Marshall Islands and Palau. When Venezuela tried to get a seat in the Security Council, even though didn't get it, 90 nations voted for Venezuela

Lamentably people from all the world have been deceived by propaganda saying that Venezuelan is a nation full of weapons ready to invade USA, for that reason Venezuela was not elected for security council, but Venezuela got 90 votes in that sessions, not the 3 votes that USA obtained 3 days ago in United Nations General Assembly: Israel, Marshall Islands and Palau. Can you tell me where the hell is Palau?

Dude, the 'propaganda' comes from Chavez himself. He is the one preparing for asymmetric wars and buying all kinds of weapons from his new handlers in Moscow.

Venezuela spent a shitload of money to get to that security council seat but was overbid by the US. Tought shit baby.

As for the vote in the UN. I will repeat it as many times as you do, it is a non-binding vote and it has been the same ofr the last 16 years...

I know you don't like that I talk against your beloved country, so I'll repeat it again: after Bush talked about strengthening the embargo against Cuba, the United Nations General Assembly voted overwhelmingly against the embargo: Cuba got 184 votes, USA got 3 votes from some important nations: Israel, Marshall Islands and Palau.

For 16 years in a row that has been the same vote. It is non-binding, a recommendation of sorts.

MercurioCromo, you're obviously ignorant as to the history and current situation in Venezuela. You need to inform yourself thoroughly before twisting the facts and posting such nonsense.
For starters, I suggest reading the following article, titled 'How does he do it?'
"One of the great imponderables for the Venezuelan opposition his how Chavez is so popular after nearly seven years in office [as of June, 2005} when, according to them, the country is coming apart at the seems. The explanations range from the superficial (“it is all based on promises”), to the bizarre (“Chavez supporters don’t believe in rational things like improving their standard of living”), to the ostrich strategy (“most Venezuelans want him out – I don’t care what all the polls say”).
What the opposition will twist, and turn, and do anything to deny is the real explanation – that things are getting better under Chavez and that it is this improvement in their standard of living that leads most Venezuelans (over 70%) to support him."

According to most important polls firms in Venezuela (Datanalisis, Ivad), right now Chavez has a popularity close to 65 per cent. Venezuela is a democratic country and everyone can march and protest, but while opposition is a minority they have to respect majority decisions.
