Blackburn gives her support to the greedy, rich special interests for free, so money to her campaign is for the purpose of buying her election from the people in her district, by giving her cash for campaign ads, etc. Momey given to Democrats may be for the purpose of making them think twice, about how much they would lose if they cross the greedy industry, and how much their campaign opponents would gain in the next election. In a strange way, the generous contribution conveys a subtle threat: "This won't be coming your way next time if you cross us this time."

Have to say that of all the states with two Republican Senators, with the exception of Maine, where they are actual moderates, Alexander and Corker are among the most informed, substantive, and least mean, vicious, or hateful of all the GOP delegations. That is probably enough praise from a Democrat to make the right-wing nuts call them RINO's!

Marsha Blackburn will not have that problem! she runs a distant third or fourth, to Palin, Fox, Bachmann - third in trying to be a sexy grandma, and fourth in nastiness.
