The cost is now close to $4 Trillion (counting the enormous cost of attending to the veterans) and not only lasted 8 years but it pushed the country into and economic crisis. So here are the GOPers, relentlessly pounding Obama for spending $4 Trillions to save the Nation’s $16 Trillion economy, yet the republicans spend the same amount on a disastrous war in order to protect about $350 billion worth of oil imports – how does one explain this away? I would rather they spend the money on something that would protect and benifit American citizens and improve the economy like deporting illegal aliens. After all marijuana has never hurt let alone killed anybody. On the other hand illegal aliens kill almost 10,000 people a year and injure several times that many. Besides most of those growing marijuana out west are illegal aliens.
