Ric Keller? Sorry, but this man is a zombie. He never breaks the party line, and gives no indication that he actually considers alternatives before toeing it. As I've said before, you could replace him with a copier and nobody would notice the difference.

You are wrong, Sentinel.

Ginny Brown-Waite is a whacko. District 5 would be better off with a retarded puppy rather than her.

You can count on the Sentinel endorsing a candidate based on her mental instability. The only Sentinel endorsee (1 out of 5) on WP's commission has been unstable, rambling and in and out of mental wards. 2 other social misfit candidates they endorsed fortunately didn't win.

Because it was politically convenient. As I already mentioned, in 2004 or so I called and asked if he would support a timetable to remove our troops as violence was escalating....his staffer basically laughed and said 'we'll call you back' and 'Mr. Keller supports the president'. Never heard a thing.

Maybe his staffer "basically laughed" because a timetable is the most foolish move a military could evet make. "hey bad guys - we're leaving on X day - just hold out until then and you can have the run of the place". Every Dem in DC (except leiberman) wants a timetible. That's why Dems are so dangerous.

Interesting video about Obama:

Brown-Waite (D) is a bellowing, grandstanding fool! She was on the Financial Committee and said nothing until AFTER the bail-out. John Russell (D) is very bright, articulate, and he has my vote! People...pls. check him out:

Grayson is a shmuck and a liar. He has an add saying that Keller will raise taxes on everything 23%!!!

But, he isn't telling you that it's because he will get rid of the federal income tax by implementing the Fair Tax!!

Also, this Iraq war nonsense he's peddling is absurd. He will have absolutely NO power to get out of Iraq as a Freshman in congress. He is just pandering to radical lefists.

While Keller may not be great...good lord take a look at his opponent.

KELLER? KELLER? KELLER? Are you kidding me? Is he sleeping (funny thought) with someone on the editorial board. Ask around and you'll see most in his district would rather have a potted plant representing them in DC!

They can be correct once and a while. Everyone gets it right sometimes.

Common sense grabs everyones a$$ every now and then. But, then again Obama leads in the POTUS polls so that tells me that most Americans are either disillusioned or ignoring the fact that our next president has a terrorist for a best friend and mentor. Take your pick.

Ladies & Gentlemen of the Editorial Board, if you're going to give someone an "endorsement" like the one you just gave Rick Keller (along the lines of "He really hasn't done much since he's been in office, but his opponent isn't much better."), then there's nothing wrong is taking the position of "In the opinion of this Editorial Board, since we feel that neither Mr. Keller or Mr. Grayson is fit to serve in the U.S. Congress, we cannot in good conscience offer an endorsement of either candidate."

Why should anyone be surprised? The Sentinel also endorsed Keller's dishonorable acts in the primary against Todd Long.
There is no way I could vote for Keller's record-breaking deficits, cheeseburger bill, "lawnmower man" episode, and lying pledge for term limits. Keller is no fiscal conservative, not even close.
I am voting for Alan Grayson as the fiscal conservative alternative and for some of the other reasons the Sentinel so rudely insulted their readers' positions.
It is one thing for the Sentinel to make their choices (no matter how much others may disagree), but it is another thing entirely to add to the uncivilized discourse in this election with their childish references; therefore, I'll take their misguided endorsement as confirmation of my choice for our community:
Alan Grayson '08

I loved the Code Pink mailer yesterday. Very effective. I don't love Keller, but it would be sheer insanity to vote for Grayson. He is a card carrying member of the Kook Fringe and a closet (2 elections ago) 9-11 conspiracy theorist. His current costume is a flag tie and a little grooming.

So you can vote in socialists/marxists?

No Thanks!!! I'll take a few bad decisions over having income redistribution any day. And if you think that Republicans are the entire reason for the mess we are in economically, I really feel sorry for you because your goggles are too fogged up.

Vote for the terrorists protoge and see what happens to our country.

I guess you didn't read my last post Doug...if you had you would have seen that the Republicans aren't the only reason for the financial mess. Namely Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and the other Democrat members in congress that are responsible. In case you missed the last two weeks of real reporting. Oh, and ACORN, another one of Obama's shady associations is also responsible for the subprime mortgage mess.

And yes...Obama is a socialist/marxist. If you can't see that then you are blind or don't know what the terms mean. For crying out loud Obama's mentor when he was young was a marxist. You don't think his ideology comes from that? He has even stated that "sharing the wealth" and "it's only fair" to tax and give it to poor people. That is socialism!!!
