I sit ashamed in Indiana. The National Democratic party gave him thousands of dollars for publicity and the Republican National Committee gave zero, nadda dollars to Elrod.

He used his grandmother's death to gain sympathy for his cause. He was probably more afraid than ashamed of being a Muslim but nevertheless he hid it until someone found out late in the campaign. There are already three Democrats campaigning against him for this spring's primary.

No, it isn't interesting.

Jesus, according to Christianity, was the messiah; he IS God. So of course, he would have been "sinless" according to Christianity. Mohammed was just a prophet according to Islam, he wasn't Allah himself. Since prophets are humans, according to Islam, they sin too.

Of course, to me, this is all meaningless. Most of this stuff is falsified information; Jesus most likely never existed, and while it may be more likely that Mohammed did, he probably never did any of the stuff that is said that he did.

One thing that is consistent with religion is the constant changing of texts, and how conveniently the texts appear decades, centuries, even, after events occur. The first written account of Jesus didn't surface until almost a century after his apparent resurrection.

Of course, I'm trying to look at this from a logical standpoint. I took an assumption that what the religions said was true. There's no doubt in my mind that, most likely, none of it is. That's why I'm atheist.

Plus, the notion of the omnipotent, omniscient, and all-benevolent God is not only illogical and an untenable position to defend, but moronic.
