It's no wonder some still support Obama's tax and spend, spend, spend policies. If Obama is allowed to side step American immigration law and Congress to allow millions of immigrants who have no concept of America being a "nation of laws, not men", then Liberals will create another 3rd world society of ignorant voters who will simply vote for the best promise of a payout. The U.S. Giverment is Obama's legacy! Okay lets see who spends. First taxes are lower than they have been in over 50 years; you have to come up with a less stupid argument! Spin it anyway you like, it easily documented that between Reagan, Bush I and Bush II the GOPers spend $9.3 trillion mostly on military and other 'unpaid for' mandates like tax cuts. Now Obama spends $4 trillion trying to save the economy and jobs and GOPers are falling all over each other howling, screaming and cursing! For example, GOPers want bases in the Mideast ... and go to war with Iraq (at the moment they want to go war with Iran)... in order to protect the vital flow of oil to the US. So we ended up spending something like $3 trillion (approaching 4) in order to protect about $350 billion worth of oil imports. That is the kind of math that puts you in the poorhouse and worst of all – they have the audacity to blame Obama and the democrats (not that they are doing much better).

Here's a little info for ya.. Modern Day... African Child slave trade::The trading of children has been reported in modern Nigeria and Benin.[16] The children are kidnapped or purchased for $20 –$70 each by slavers in poorer states, such as Benin and Togo, and sold into slavery in sex dens or as unpaid domestic servants for $350.00 each in wealthier oil-rich states, such as Nigeria and Gabon Let's see,People from other countries??(ILLEGALS).. If they broke our laws put them in our jails and prisons.. We gotta feed em anyway,A little deterrence.. Too many people competing for too few resources?? Seems about where we are now.. Anchor babies, Send them back home with their parents... And most in the USA don't know their language either,So what's the point you are trying to make?? What should Obama do about it?? Put our military on our borders protecting our country with our tax dollars instead of kicking the can down the road... Wow! You’ve glossed over what I said by summarily dismissing it as saying nothing. And I worked so hard on it. Then you totally defused the discussion by changing the subject to a whole plethora of additional injustices in the world. Still, my response to our impossible challenge is the same. There are many injustices in the world and it is difficult to find good solutions for them. We can do better by being wise than by being rigid.

I bet the family members of Husseins murdered victims would spit in your ignorant face if you asked them if any WMD were found. They would let you know that the biggest weapon of mass destruction was their dictator. How much did the democrats Vietnam war cost? Break it down for us Einstein! lol How much has Obama's Drone wars cost us? Obama is still funding the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and the few hits of his own, isn't he? Didn't he brag and promise and swear and gloat that he would bring all our soldiers home within the first two years of his term? Somebody needs to get that memo to the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. A couple of years late but Obama never has been accurate with numbers and facts, has he? One term and gone. See ya! Don't forget the dead Iraqi civilians who were killed by US and British forces-i.e. young children, old granmothers, disabled seniors-you guys did a good job in that war, who cares that Gen.Powell apologized to the U.N. and retired a year 1/2 later, and Bin Laden wasn't found for almost ten years..There were alot of countries that told you it wasn't worth it-you idiots can't nation build everytime one of your former 'allies' i.e. Sadam during the Iraq/Iran war tells you to leave him alone..arrogant americans who kill innocent people and then call themselves a 'christian nation'-all these people with disabilities here-I wanted Gadhafi out of power-and he was guilty of a taking innocent lives-that was a great decision by Barack Obama and then he had to finish the killing of Bin Laden-true Obama acted like a 'Hawk' but he terminated the real terrorists-thx to Sarkozy too

****** as per DW: I was reading your post with interest, until you got to this part...... "The problem is that when there’s an emergency, people from other countries come here without our permission. If they broke the law but starving, should we kick them out? Maybe. If they give birth to children here, should we kick them out? Where to? Some strange country where they don’t even know the language? Should we sometimes bend the rules? Probably. What should President Obama do about it? Something. Should Congress help find a solution? Also something" ********** My answer: What I'd like to know is why do you think the USA and it's citizens should be responsible for every country that can't manage it's population and the people who are THEIR citizens? But because we are such a liberal country, and they know it, they will continue to come here "without our permission." for whatever reasons other than starving as you say, but because they know they will ultimately be put on our welfare rolls. And why/how do they know this?....because most of them come with children and know the good ole USA never turn down children. Further.... And why should we bend the rules? This country does not bend the rules for it's citizens! And how in heaven's name can we bend rules for 30 million people, each with their own agenda for being here who do not belong here? And so, when you got chewed out by "Hello," you pushed it when you said.......... . "There are many injustices in the world and it is difficult to find good solutions for them. We can do better by being wise than by being rigid." Again.......since when is the USA responsible for the "injustices in the world?" Who made us the savior who must come to the aid of everything that needs a solution, when we can't even take care of our own citizens? We have homeless people on the streets, many who live in cardboard boxes behind buildings, and who dig through garbage to find someone's tossed out chicken dinner, etc. Only by the grace of donations do we even have soup kitchens to aid some of our own starving citizens. These people, therefore, do not have my sympathy when they break our laws. The question is: why doesn't anybody hold Mexico responsible for what ails their own country? Why are they not subject to blame for the horrendous conditions they force their own citizens to live in? There are millionaires in Mexican government. Mexico is at fault because they don't want to take responsibility for their own citizens. The best deal is to shove them into the USA and let somebody else pay the freight.

I was reading along agreeing with what you were saying, but was thrown by the line where you said, "do agree with being the world's policeman." It just didn't fit with the rest of your post. Then came your correction and it made me laugh. I hate it when that happens. Good post though, IMO. 8)

Just thought this was a good construct.. I don't know who write it but I like it... Ineptocracy: "A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers."
