A proposed 'personhood' law in Oklahoma that would grant embryos full rights as people from the moment of conception failed in the state's Legislature without coming to a vote in the House of Representatives, lawmakers said on Thursday.

Fetal alchohol syndrome is not "just nonsense". There is no cure for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Once the damage is done, it cannot be undone. How is preventing women from being afflicted with fetal alchohol syndrome not for their own good? Only by protecting women from violence while they are in the womb can fetal alchohol syndrome be prevented.
Again Bullshyt. you can not control woman.. Deal with it, you f*cktard. When the baby is born the States child protective services can swoop in. Before that she can do as she pleases.

Preventing violence against women is never the wrong era or the wrong country. Your laws will never justify your cruelty, and hatred of women. Women with fetal alcohol syndrome face huge challenges. Problems associated with fetal alcohol syndrome don't end when girls grow up. There are hundreds of thousands of women across the country affected by the disorder. They often have poor judgment and struggle just to survive. Respect for the personhood of embryos protects women from the violence of fetal alchohol syndrome.
Again you simpleton.. You are not going to be able to control woman. that is reality. Deal with it.

Sorry, honey, but you aren't protecting anyone with your delusional rhetoric. Not only that, but it isn't your place to protect us, you misogynistic freak. Go tend to your mental health and mind your own business.

There is no such thing as a unborn baby.

If you have to make up words to try to have a conversation- when the words already exist in the English language- it makes you a propagandist and I have better things to do than try to have a conversation with someone who cannot even use honest language.

Women aren't afflicted with fetal alcohol syndrome. Babies of both sexes are and they can grow up to be men and who are 'afflicted' but you are so dishonest with your use of the English language it is impossible to know who you are addressing.

You are making things up.

Putting aside you don't know what you are talking about, and sad that you can not have a serious condition with making things up.

http://health.nytimes.com/health/guides/disea...

Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) is a pattern of mental and physical defects which develops in some unborn babies when the mother drinks "too much" alcohol during pregnancy.
http://alcoholism.about.com/cs/preg/a/aa07099...

When a pregnant woman drinks alcohol, so does her unborn baby. Alcohol in the mother's blood passes through the placenta to the baby through the umbilical cord. Drinking alcohol during pregnancy can cause miscarriage, stillbirth, and a range of lifelong disorders, known as fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs).

Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs) are a group of conditions that can occur in a person whose mother drank alcohol during pregnancy. These effects can include physical problems and problems with behavior and learning. Often, a person with an FASD has a mix of these problems.
http://www.cdc.gov/ncbddd/fasd/facts.html

There is no cure for Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. Once the damage is done, it cannot be undone. However, FAS is the only cause of birth defects that can be completely prevented. http://aihc1998.tripod.com/FAS.html

When a pregnant woman drinks alcohol, it easily passes across the placenta to the fetus. Because of this, drinking alcohol can harm the baby's development.
A pregnant woman who drinks any amount of alcohol is at risk for having a child with fetal alcohol syndrome. No "safe" level of alcohol use during pregnancy has been established. Larger amounts of alcohol appear to increase the problems. Binge drinking is more harmful than drinking small amounts of alcohol.
Timing of alcohol use during pregnancy is also important. Alcohol use appears to be the most harmful during the first 3 months of pregnancy; however, drinking alcohol any time during pregnancy can be harmful.
Complications seen in the infant may include:
•Abnormal heart structure
•Behavior problems
•Infant death
•Mental retardation
•Problems in the structure of the head, eyes, nose, or mouth
•Poor growth before birth
•Slow growth and poor coordination after birth
Prenatal care can help keep you and your baby healthy. Babies of mothers who do not get prenatal care are three times more likely to have a low birth weight and five times more likely to die than those born to mothers who do get care.
Doctors can spot health problems early when they see mothers regularly. This allows doctors to treat them early. Early treatment can cure many problems and prevent others. Doctors also can talk to pregnant women about things they can do to give their unborn babies a healthy start to life.
Well, that explains it! You were born abnormal due to your mother's drinking, hence your retarded posts.
