The cost of gas doubled since the Democrats took control of Congress in 2006. The real beginning of increased gas prices rests in the poorly thought out ban on drilling in America's potential oilfields by the whacko environmentalists who have had the Democratic Party in their hip pocket for the last several decades.

My friend let me be clear we need to Drill drill every square inch of this great country. The democrats don't get that we need to let the oil companies get more land to sit on and not develope, instead we need to let them buy back their own stock, As your president I promise that an American company will have 1 trillion dollars in profits for the first quarter of my administration. Once I bomb Iran you;ll love paying 14.40 a gallon.

The dems took over congress in 06, that was 2 years ago, and since that time, the 9 Republicans in the Senate who COULD have voted to pass legislation CHOSE to filibuster and deny any legislation to go through. When it did, monkeyboybusy VETOED it, that is, until last month when the genius realized his only legacy is the QUAGMIRE IN IRAQ. So, he signed the housing bailout bill after saying he was going to VETO it like the countless other bills that came to his desk.
