Tennessee, Republican Marsh won a state house seat that was held by a democrat with 56% of the vote, against “Ty Cobb” with HUGE name recognition, not only a famous baseball name, but also from his BROTHER, who HELD that seat PREVIOUSLY.

Oklahoma house seat held by democrats since 1965 was taken over by Russ, a republican, in a district dominated by democrats with a 2 TO 1 margin!

2 TO 1 DEMOCRAT MARGIN, and a REPUBLICAN WON IT!

The democrats have ALSO lost state house seats in DELEWARE, TEXAS, NEW HAMPSHIRE AND VIRGINIA.

Civil libertarians are warning Americans about the ambitions of federal lawmakers to control all waters within the United States including those on private property, in the latest power grab by politicians in Washington, DC.

According to the American Land Rights Association, the Obama Administration and Congress are attempting to pass the Clean Water Restoration Act of 2009 (S787) that would amend the 1972 Clean Water Act and replace the words "navigable waters" with "waters of the United States."

"The US Constitution's Tenth Amendment automatically reserves power for controlling waters to the states, not to the Oval Office and US Congress," said political strategist Mike Baker.

My Newsday was late this morning. The left leaning editorial staff was probably in a state of shock from ObamaLash.

Hoffman entered the race 30 days ago, and has no name recognition. In spite of that, he lost 23 by 5k votes and 4%. The sweetest part of this is that this was a special election and he gets to run agains, same time, same election next year if he chooses, too.
