Why would anyone want to propose putting anything as important as the Internet under the UN mandate is beyond belief.

It is already in the best hands, controlled completely by an advanced country with no moral failings, no monopolistic or protectionistic tendencies and whom will never use the Internet to further its own agendas nor Ever spy on its own people or International Organisations like the UN.

Why should one as esteemed as such bother to even come up with any excuses to hold on to the absolute control of the Internet is beyond me.
