Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney said exactly what right wing extremists want to hear.
Medicare. Romney intends to privatize Medicare and turn it into a voucher system like Paul Ryan wanted to do in his budget plan.
““Tomorrow’s seniors” will also have to wait much longer for Medicare since Romney also intends to raise the retirement age which is already 65 and 67 for people born after 1959.
Republicans are only interested in making people work until they die. Most Republicans want to raise the retirement age to 70. The average life expectancy for American men is 75 while for women the average is 80. This means way less time to enjoy the benefits of retirement that we work so hard for, not to mention the fact that a higher retirement age will also hurt the hiring of younger workers.---------

---------?

Seems to me the hard working tax payers born in 1960 were already screwed once, by a republican president who raised there retirement age.

--Now we have another Republican wanting to raise it on them again.?????//

Anyone under 55,
They already been paying in for 37 years or more.

Raiseing the retirement age is not only unecessary, it is wrong.

------

0000000000

-----
Republican Politicians want to cut Social Security to reduce the federal deficit.

--- But Social Security didn’t cause the deficit.

----

In fact, Social Security has a $2.6 trillion surplus today. It shouldn’t be cut to reduce the deficit.

-------
Social Security is based on a promise: If you pay into the system then you earn the right to guaranteed benefits. This is one promise to the American people that politicians in Washington shouldn’t break.

------

President Obama has said that he"

Won’t cut benefits

---

Won’t raise the retirement age.

-----
Won’t cut the cost of living adjustment (COLA)
In effect, the President has said: Keep Social Security’s Promise!

-----
I agree
Obama 2012.

My yougest brother was born in 1960. Been working since the age of 14, started paying taxes and social security at 16.

-

Keep the promise, He gonna need that promise if he is ever gonna get to enjoy his last days on earth.

Trust me my fellow american, the people of this country do remember and that is the very reason that we will take it back this fall and Oblamer the incompetent will be moving back to Chicago to pick back up his hate based community organizing. Your rhetoric and lies are not enough to stop the juggernaut coming at the democrats and Oblamer is the leader that made such a colossal turn of the political winds possible. Thank you Mr. President. It will be my honor and pleasure to be part of the movement that sees to your defeat come November. It's done, the democrats know it, and whining like a bunch of bitches is all they have left.
This is for you. I’m not voting Republican on November 2nd because unlike the Tea Party I remember.
I remember which party defends tax breaks for corporations that move their operations and YOUR jobs overseas.
I remember that “nobody knew” the levees were going to break.
I remember which party was in power when my hometown of New Orleans was under water during Katrina.
I remember which party started a needless trillion dollar war in Iraq.
I remember which party took a record budget surplus and turned it into a record budget deficit.
I remember which party believes that spending money on OUR nation is wasted money.
I remember which party brought us the Wall Street bailout.
I remember which party believes in states rights unless a state passes a law that doesn’t coincide with their narrow point of view.
I remember which party blocked health care for our nation’s 9/11 first responders and clean up volunteers.
I’m not voting Republican this year because I have a memory.
I remember which party dismantled the government agencies that protect our food supply, thereby providing my family with poisonous lettuce, spinach, meat and eggs.
I’m not voting Republican this year because I have a memory.
I remember which party believes that the only problem with our nation is the wealthy don’t have enough money and enough freedom to pollute our air and water.
I’m not voting Republican this year because I do have a memory.
I remember which party worked tirelessly to destroy Social Security, Medicare, public education, civil rights, and equal pay for women.
I remember which party believes that by giving our government less money it will somehow have more money.
I remember which party was in power during every major banking crisis since 1900.
I remember which party cannot hear the screams of the people but the whispers of big business.
I remember which party wants to “take our country back” and I remember which party wants to take our country forward.
I’m not voting Republican this year because I remember.
On November 2nd, you should remember too. As they say, never forget. Don’t vote Republican on November 2nd and do our country a favor

Obama is the only candidate that has the working mans back.

You've never voted for a republican in your life. The only thing I am remembering is what a lying piece of partisan shit you are. Whether they deserve it or not the republicans will be in total control of Washington after November and the only man who could have made that possible was Mr. Symbolism over Substance. He turned out to be so incompetent that the only thing it turns out that he knows is the excuses for his failures. Just blame somebody else. And how about that Joe Biden? If he isn't a democrat roll model of a MENSA candidate. Took a really smart guy to make that pick "fer sure".

My union dues cant pay enough to match the millions the Rich throw at the campain, we are only 7 percent of the workforce,- The top One percent in the country has the most money look at wisconsin.
Walker 33 million
Barret 4 million.
You seem to forget that Gov. Walker won the first election without all that money being spent. He won the re-call election because your union was exposed to the public and greedy, back-door dealing whiney thugs that wanted to continue to soak the taxpayer for you pension and insurance packages. Sorry we, the public, didn't buy the BS your union was trying to sell. Notice how the unions are shrinking because when given a choice to pay dues or not, most off your fellow union members realize your union is a bunch of liberal democratic whiners who are P.O'd because they now realize the public isn't going to be fleeced by them any longer
-
33 million can buy a better class of hooker.
Now we are all Fuked.
lets crush the unions so there will be less campain money for the voices of the working men.
You & your unions decided to have this recall rather than wait for the next election, so you had to spend millions and millions of dollars. There is/was nothing illegal about raising outside money for this election. It's just that the DNC and others saw the writting on the wall and decided long before the votes were cast that the unions were not going to win this election. Even obama avoided Wisconsin because he didn't want to be associated with "losers". Obama was all over Illinois and Minnesota but avoided Wisconsin like the plague. Don't worry he will come back in October and ask all you liberal democratic unions to support him in his re-election bid, but if you are smart you will avoid him lest you be associated with another loser
Raiseing the retirement age and medicare is awesome.
Yes, we see the only polls that have Obama ahead are the liberal polls.....what's new.

Never in our history has a party been so corrupted by the powerful.

Government does not "create" jobs. They hamper the development of new jobs in the private sector through taxing policy, regulations, and legislation that creates uncertainty. People are suffering because thats what the democrats and Obama have been trying to accomplish. You can't let a good crisis go to waste now, can you?

Obama has gone down in history as the president that stopped a major Depression.

I remember the arbitrary forced closing of hundreds of dealers across the country, leaving sales staff, mechanics, car porters, management, car prep workers all without jobs. Obama is still a 1.6 million net job loser since he has taken office and one of the few presidents ever that has delivered an unemployment and underemployment rate of 13%+ every year of his presidency, with women being hurt the most throughout this downturn. What we will remember is that he was a failure, and a one term loser.

You should worry about the plunging credibility of the other networks fool. NBC was just caught in another attempt to mislead and influence public opinion with distorted selective editing. Just about every week more viewers of the lame stream media find themselves looking for other news sources because they can no longer stomach the blatant misrepresentation of the news. Who does the marketplace continue to reward with ever growing viewership? The network that every liberal loves to hate, the network the democrat party is trying to destroy, the network that just keeps becoming an ever bigger juggernaut in the industry, FOX News with it's bevy of smoking hot babes that read the news as good as Oblamer does a TelePrompTer. Some of the finest legs and asses in the industry for sure. Keep pointing the accusatory finger of shame at them while you make excuses for the other networks that actually do lie and call it news. It's a super day for spreading your wings and enjoying yourself, so clear as much space in your schedule as possible. You'll jump at the chance of going travelling, whether that involves catching a train to a nearby town or boarding a plane for an exotic destination. You long to broaden your horizons and see more of life, even if it's in very modest ways.
