It is the duty of every American to Protect and Defend their rights and life. If someone is intent on murder then they are intent on stripping you of all your rights, liberty and life. The death penalty is an extension of the right an individual has to save his/her own life, etc. The death penalty amounts to what a deceased individual or the absence of a police officer was unable to do during the course of a violent crime. In other words, if you commit murder you are going to die one way or another…capice?
