First there has not and won't be a successful lawsuit against a church refusing to marry someone. I'd love to see the link to your "story". Your daughter didn't CHOOSE her sexual orientation. But as for the whole "nature versus nurture" claim let's face it. It still boils down to the behavior of HETEROSEXUALS! As for "morals" frankly I think it's pretty good morals for people who see marriage as something more than just a piece of paper. And those gays and lesbians who want to have a marriage ARE promoting the IDEALS of what marriage really is, not just the piece of paper it comes with. It takes a pretty strong moral character to stand up to group pressure. You should try it sometime yourself. But instead you write a contradictory self indulgent piece here so you can try to claim you love your daughter, when in fact you are angry she has the nerve to stand up for her beliefs and not follow the herd mentality you enjoy. People like you crack me up. "I love my neighbors but.." shows you really haven't succeeded in understanding and practicing the two things Jesus told us all to follow.
