Sorry, hospitals are not churches and churches are not hospitals.
Hospitals owned and operated by the church are part of the church. It's not a hard concept, why are you struggling with it?

"Here is what is particularly worrisome: the state seems no longer satisfied with a slow but steady evolution toward secularity; it is aggressively forcing Catholic hospitals off the stage, for it is creating for them an impossible situation. If they cave in and provide insurance for these verboten procedures, they have effectively de-Catholicized themselves; and if they refuse to provide such insurance, they will be met with fines of millions of dollars, which they cannot possibly pay. In either case, they are forced out of business as Catholic. And this seems, sadly, to be precisely what the Obama administration wants."--Fr. Robert Barron
Father Baron is right. Is it a coincedence that a movie has debuted today about Mexico in the 1920's when the govt outlawed Catholicism?

God told me that Timmy is going to burn in hell along with the child rapists priests he loves so much, it sure is funny how the Catholic Church bends over backwards to protect priests who bend choir boys over frontwards, and then get all pissy about homosexuals, who does anyone listen to them anymore, anyway? Just for kicks?
"No homosexual contact, except between Catholic priests and schoolchildren!" says Bishop Timmy, the molesters best friend. "If you wanted to be gay and sodomize boys, you should have joined the sacred Catholic Church." Support abortion, the Church cutts you off, engage in child rape, the Church loves you...how stupid are the Catholics, anyway?

Not buying BC for someone isn't denying them the right to practice their religion. The catholic church and it's charities won't be purchasing BC for them.
An employer MUST follow the law will ALL of their employees. It really is that simple.

And as has been shown, there are many cases of women who NEED birth control pills for the hormone regulation they provide, and NOT for the prevention of unwanted pregnancy. And THAT is what this issue is about.

THIS ISSUE IS ABOUT RELIGIOUS FREEDOM. Would you force a Jewish person to eat pork? Then why would you force a Catholic to go against their belief about birth control being wrong? Would you force an Amish woman to pose for a picture? YOU want to force a group of people to go against what they believe is wrong, you DO sound like a communist.

YOU want to force a group of people, not just Catholics, to commit an intrinsic evil. I can't believe our govt is turning socialist.

(psst. That eating pork thing? That holds true for anyone who worships the God of the Bible...)

If the Amish woman wants a driver's license, then she has to get her picture taken. If a Muslim woman wants a drivers license, then she has to take off her veil and get her picture taken. There was a case a while back about Amish farmers trying to fight against having to buy into the local sewer system, saying that they wanted to do it themselves with outhouses. The problem was that their waste was seeping into the ground water - whether they liked it or not, in that community, they HAD to pay the government and be on the sewer system.

And, in exactly the same manner, if a church wants to run a business, then they have to obey the laws regarding treatment of their employees. Religious freedom has no bearing on this, it is only about fair employment practices.

Jeez, get over yourself. There is NOTHING evil about birth control. The idea that there is was just the OPINION of one guy wearing a funny hat. Nothing more.

Really? Then demonstrate what exactly is evil about birth control, in and of itself. I am not talking about pre- or extra- marital sex, the issue is not fornication or promiscuity, but birth control only.

Where is the evil? I can see plenty of GOOD, in that a family can plan and space out their children for optimum parenting, and can avoid having too many children, thus limiting the burden on the family economic situation as well as on the environment.

Didn't you know that if an Amish person had his or her picture taken it would be against their Ordnung? It would be considered a graven image and they would be committing an evil act, and the Amish do not drive, they use horses and buggies. The govt is fine with them and the way they live. We do not believe and we consider it a mortal sin to use contraception and to pay for an abortion. It is our right to practice our religion the way we see fit. Its not only the Catholics that are upset, its a whole lotta people. We will not go against our religion to please the govt. The communists ordered Christians to do immoral things, would not let them worship , say mass, have processions, they closed all seminaries etc threw the priests and nuns in jail, executed them. The govts tried to get rid of religious liberty. Kruschef or how you spell his name wanted to kill every priest in the Soviet Union, didn't work, there are millions of them now.. And guess what, we came back stronger and they couldn't stop us. Mexico tried to do what Obama wants to do, they failed and so will Obama.

no employer has to follow an unconstitutional law. It's about the prez and his radical left wing henchmen trying to force a religious group to violate part of their faith. The church will not pay for BC no matter what obammy says.

It has a lot to do with what we believe, and we do consider birth control to be evil and against God. Its not an opinion its two thousand years of teachings.

so now you want to tell Catholics what they should believe? That's why we have a constitution. It isn't up to you to decide. They will do so for themselves.

And there are a lot of Catholics that use birth control.

Hey, when it comes down to it, yes, you can believe any nonsense you wish. Feel free. You can believe that BC is "evil", you can believe that smearing blue mud on your belly cures baldness, you can believe that Jesus was really dropped off here on Earth from a flying saucer to get people ready to become lunch for lizard men from another galaxy.

Your believe does not make any of it any less nonsense.

Then demonstrate exactly how BC is in any way "against God".

And it is NOT 2,000 years of teaching, it was Paul 4, all the way back in 1968. A whooping 44 years of "tradition".

The law isn't unconstitutional.
