If the price goes higher and people do buy elswhere to cover the losses they will lay people off. Again the consumer and worker loses

Loopholes should be eliminated, but with that said I ask the question: who punishes the taxpayer more, companies that pay taxes and benefit from these loopholes or those individuals who don't pay taxes and drain the system by taking what they don't put in?
