2 "But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the healthcare reform that is needed to help shore up our economy. Um, helping, oh -- it's got to be all about job creation too. Shoring up our economy, and putting it back on the right track. So healthcare reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions, and tax relief for Americans, and trade, we've got to see trade as opportunity, not as a competitive, um, scary thing, but 1 in 5 jobs being created in the trade sector today. We've got to look at that as more opportunity. All of those things under the umbrella of job creation. This bailout is a part of that." |

3 Gov. Sarah Palin, by John McCain's estimation, "knows more about energy than probably anyone in the United States of America." I understand election time exaggerations, but I think that is too big of a piece of BS for anyone to swallow. What's next? Maybe we'll be told that Gov. Sarah Palin knows more about nuclear fission than Einstein ever did. |

Maybe she's smarter than all of us combined, and what she said makes complete sense to her. Maybe it makes sense to someone. Maybe, just may....oh, forget it, she's an idiot. I was just trying to be positive. "That One"/Biden 08 |

3 Palin's lack of intelligence comes into play here, she proves beyond a reasonable doubt that she is not qualified to lead a girl scout troop, let alone our country. By choosing her as V.P., Mccain's judgement comes into question, if he is not capable of choosing a qualified V.P., then how is he going to fill seats in the Supreme Court, Cabinet, and ambassadors. |

4 Obama/Obiden? Two self-serving stick in the mud democRats who deny drilling, deny exploration, deny new refineries, deny clean coal, deny nuclear power, etc. OPEC looked at democRats screwing their own economy by denying measures for energy independence and laughed all the way to the bank, OPEC had no competition to fear, guaranteed by democRats beholden to their oil hating contributors. High gasoline prices, high food costs, high utilities, high cost of goods and services, home foreclosures? Thank stinking self-serving democRats beholden to a euro-socialist ideology not Americanism. |

2 I know far more about energy issues than she does. If she can't even get her facts straight in regards to Alaska, how could she even begin to understand the far more complex energy issues of the lower 48? Larry, Independent TX voter |

3 This is EXACTLY what Sarah sounds like with all that "you betcha, joe six pack, et al", and that utterly stupid looking winking, along with those dorky sounding voice inflections. She is trying to be cute and folksy, but she is instead sounding like an absolute dork. |
