Palin's husband testifies he never pressured official

The investigation into Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's dismissal of a state official moved forward on two fronts Wednesday.

Palin's husband, Todd, said in a sworn affidavit released Wednesday night that he never pressured the state's public safety commissioner to fire Palin's former brother-in-law, a state trooper who had divorced the governor's sister.

And the justification for firing Monegan changes AGAIN! There is an article in the Anchorage Daily News which offers the supposition that Palin fired Monegan to make an opening for Chuck Kopp (the guy who only lasted 2 weeks then had to resign because of a sexual harrassment scandal that Palin knew about before she appointed him). Kopp is a close friend to Franklin Graham (Billy's son) who is a big wig in the Council on National Policy (neo-con group of all the biggies in the neo-con movement from mega church leaders to industrialists, bankers, politicians and even military officials). The writer, Boraas, said Palin didn't have the full support of the fundies because she hadn't done enough to promotie the "Christian values" they felt were important and she proved her "fundie street cred" with the hiring of Kopp and got to settle a personal score at the same time. McCain met with Graham on 6/30/2008 to get the support of the fundies and their price was they would get to pick the VP.

It's a fascinating article:

Abuse of authority by a politician who claims to be an ethical reformer a non-issue? Really? They seem to be taking it quite seriously in Alaska and in the McCain campaign.

Just wondering. There was a sheriff on the campaign trail with McCain, using the "Hussein" mantra for him, invoking fear. Now, why would any law inforcement officer support Palin or McCain, when all she wants to do is fire them all day? She obviously has no respect for their uniform.

Todd called state officials to discuss Wooten. It's very difficult to believe that those discussions were benevolent. Tod and Sarah surely want this to be a non-issue; worth stonewalling and lying.

Of course Tod will cooperate with the commission that his wife controls. While appearing to cooperate, he knows that Sarah will fire anyone who might disagree with her, including the three commissioners. And the republicans will buy it, including the idiot from Chardon. They'll believe anything on fox news!

But just to make you happy most of the Dems I work with in a Union shop are actually voting for MCcain despite of what the Nazi's at the union hall are preaching. And yes the Sh*t is deeper now knowing that the union's are in bed with acorn. So honestly you don't know Sh*t about whats going on in Ohio or for that matter in this country..........
