Doing research on my ancestors. The earliest ancestor I've been able to trace back to Worcester, England. He was thrown into prison in 1660 for being a Quaker. He's mentioned several times in the book The Suffering of the Quakers by Besse. Is there a Quaker Society in Worcester still? Trying to find out more info on him.

Francis Harvey, died in 1711, the next year his son, William left to come to Philadelphia, PA. William was a maltster which seemed to be the family trade for several generations after jumping the pond.
