Veils should simply be considered inappropriate in a UK courtroom.British people are generally accustomed to seeing someone’s face. It is different if they are disfigured. A mere religious belief is not grounds for obscuring one’s identity.

Trust UK judges to get the issue wrong. And trust people with extreme religious views to be so confrontational. As usual the majority must be over-ruled by the will of an argumentative minority. A courtroom, like a schoolroom is not the place to make points about veils.

This is not some xenophobic Daily Mail scare story. They really are taking over. We should be fighting them not holding our bottoms open for them to shaft.

I believe that the MUslim women should be able to wear the hijab, but not the veil. Besides there is no law in Islam that says that women have to wear either one. (Try telling that to the Middle Eastern countries)
