Looks like Tesco are finally going to start building on some of the now-derelict land between Etruria Road and Broad Street. I've heard there's also going to be part of the ring road constructed there too.
Is this really going to benefit Stoke on Trent? Do we actually need a huge new supermarket? It's not as though the current city centre Tesco is too small,is it? The ring road,I agree with. But I'd like to see traffic easing measures elsewhere such as down Stafford Street where there's far too many taxis parked illegally,obstructing buses. How about making Stafford Street car-free?
