Am relocation to Stevenage but really do not know the area that well, Could you guys help me out and advise what areas are the good to live and what are the run down areas to avoid

Well, that was helpful, lol:) Pin Green was one of the areas that was deemed 'nicer'- however, that's a matter of debate nowadays. Are you buying, or renting? Buying - Chells Manor, possibly. Renting - try to avoid certain parts of Bedwell, St Nicholas. The best thing you can do is talk to your insurers - give them the postcode and they'll give you the cost of your insurance based on the latest crime figures. Good luck with your move.

I relocated to Stevenage just over 4 years ago, rented for the first 6 months until I found a house to buy in a quiet street on the edge of Stevenage. Its always a big thing to do when you move to a completely new place, but take a drive around the area, you will soon see what suits you best that way. I took one good piece of advice, don't move too close to any of the parades of shops, as the local teenagers hang out at most of them in the evenings, so it can be a little intrusive. There are just about every type of house up here, good luck.
