When it comes to female red squirrels, it seems any male will do

This is only speculation on my part but perhaps the female red squirrels just enjoy sex.

They are rats.

We trained the dog to kill them, and shot the rest. They are a pain in the ass I hear if they get in your house. They are pest, and nothing cute about them, even when camping. You get morons from the cities that would feed them when they first come to the campsites,(us seasoned campers just laugh) then they spend the rest of the time chasing the little bastards out of their camping gear, food, etc. Quite humorous actually.
Those city folks think they are cute.
I epecially get a laugh out of fools that brake for these things on a highway, how stupid is that???? Very, when they are wearing a semi trailor in their back seat.
