sheffield car boot

i would just like to comment on the sheffield market manager being unable to relocate the carboot at blonk street which shut in june.Myself along with hundreds of other keen carbooters enjoyed our sunday morning out in the ten years i,ve been visiting i,ve met some great people from every ethnic background and every religion .I find it hard to beleive that they are unable to find a new site they,ve known it was closing for 2 years and sheffield is a big city.I phoned sheffield council the other day to find out if a new site had been located yet i was told they were looking for a site that held at least 120 cars to make it viable so really its all about money not the sheffield people so come on all you carbooters who were gutted when it shut show some support leave your comments and maybe we,ll all get our sunday day out back. p.s missing you all from blonk street

Glad to have come across this forum, it is a shame that they havent found a new site yet, sure is taking them awhile, hope it will get sorted soon,i myself miss a good sunday morning carboot.
