I'm no fan of Angelina Jolie but maybe she adopts because someone " has " to take care of these kids. And she has the time and money to do so ever thought of that. She does not try to bring her family in the limelight the media does that even if she does not want them to.

I don't know what her true motives are. I can believe the story that going to Cambodia to film one of the Tomb Raider movies changed her life and perspective. When she and Billy Bob adopted Maddox, it seemed okay. I don't think Billy Bob wanted to have kids with her, so she adopted and then divorced Billy Bob. Maddox was the new man in her life.

Brad was with her when she adopted Zahara.

When you adopt a child from a country like that, you have no idea what you are taking on or what issues might arise later. They seem to prefer the damaged goods to their own flesh and blood. Is that normal?

She wasn't acting in the movie, "Girl Interrupted" because that was her true self. The scene they showed about her cutting herself and having the courage to put enough pressure on the blade to have it actually cut...she wasn't acting. She was speaking from experience.

What could make someone unhappy and unbalanced enough to want to cut themselves and leave scars on themselves? Did Jolie try out for the part in "Secretary"? Do you know the movie? The girl is a "cutter" I do believe. She has other oddities as well.
