i personally think Autism is nutrition based. Think about all the processed foods people consume, from fast food to box mixes, many people never eat anything fresh. in the last 30 years our nutrition in this country have gone way downhill, from school lunches to people simply not cooking anymore for their kids. Autism may not be all about poor food choices but i think it is a large part of the problem.

So you're a troll? Why bother?
Loneliness? Rejection? Impotency? Frustration? Nobody pays you any attention?

Couldn't you just find your self somebody to love and get over it?

Autism, due to the increasing drugs being developed to treat it combined with the fact that a physical diagnosis doesn't exist outside of genetic study, is becoming the most over-diagnosed mental illness in the world. A large porton of diagnosed children would, 20 or even 10yrs ago, been simply thought to be precocious and watched closely and disciplined properly, and as a result, with proper parenting, fully and successfully integrated with the world. The milder the 'symptoms' the less likely any special counceling, and more importantly, labels, would have been applied. Those labels stay forever and haunt people into adulthood, where, for many who are raised relatively normally, those 'symptoms' disappear. As for the anti-vaccine nuts, they've never seen the total devastation of polio, smallpox, diptheria, or any of the other deadly or ruinous diseases vaccines prevent, so they're falsely assured they've 'saved' their children from possible danger of childhood malady. They're fools, they've put their children in much greater danger than if they got them the vaccinations, polio affected a lot more tots during the last epidemic than REAL autism does today, with drastically more devastating effects. Parents who notice slight difficulties with their young child and rush him in for a quick autism diagnosis at the autism center are ducking out of responsible parenting in exchange for doctors doing it with unneeded 'therapy' and drugs. For the radical arguers and 'phobes, I'm not saying autism doesn't exist, or that true autism doesn't warrant treatment, only that overdiagnosing does more harm than good, proper discipline and attention for what doctors often diagnose as mild autism will serve a child better throughout their life than a label most associate with 'retarded', and medication to control tempers, shyness, and outbursts

Why can't NUTTERS like you read? Before vaccines autism barely existed. You've allowed today's liars and cons to make you think nothing ever changed. Do some research NUTTER.
so what is it that causes some people, now in their 60s, to be diagnosed as "Autistic" or on the "autistic spectrum"? are they deluded, or are they psychotic or schizophrenic, like we were told we wwere back in the 60's?

Sure, yet another assumption of who had vaccines.

The fact is, many who are in their 50's and 60's today were misdiagnosed as a child. The 'popular' diagnosis back in the day was MR and schizophrenia (sent to institutions) and prior there was NO statistic's ever kept of those with any diagnosis. That 1:10,000 was only a guestimate. The main vaccines back in the 1950's (thoe who are 60 today weren't born in the 1960's. They would had been born in the early 1950's) was the polio vaccines. Prior to that vaccine, there was only 4 vaccines available at the time but by the late 1940's, only 2 vaccines were widely available so the claim of WW2 is incorrect.

Talking off the top of your head isn't evidence. My response was also to someone in the UK so a Yankee need not respond.

More name-calling. Is that all the evidence you got?!
First you call those diagnosed ficticious, but then blame it on vaccines after WW2! So which is it?!
Try looking it up instead of denying all the facts before you make yourself look more foolish.
