I actually think this is my fav Maiden album. I know the 80s were their pinnacle, but this album really offers more... I'd put "7th Son" and "Caught Somewhere" and "# of Beast" a bit behind this masterpiece.

I wasn't comparing albums in terms of their sounds. I just made the point that I might actually enjoy this one MORE than the 80s classics, which is a shocker since I felt the predecessors were very lacking. Both BNW and DoD were fairly disappointing to me.

BNW and DOD was the revival of Iron Maiden with Bruce..and from BNW and DOD to AMOLAD the change was great and I like it very much..they are an amazing band...

That last poster might be insane.

"For The Greater Good of God" is just fantastic. It offers everything. The intro makes me feel the way the intro to "Infinite Dreams" does, though they are very different. The rest of the track reminds me of "Judgement Of Heaven". Does anyone else feel that?

Yep and to compare Maiden to Korn is an insult..Korn is a very good band, but Maiden is 1000000 times better...It's the only nu-metal band I like, definitely better than Slipknot and Linkin Park
