1000s of BRITISH Sikhs Protest in Parliament Sq Against Harassment at European Airports

I understand and agree that the 99.9999% of law abiding good citizen tax paying Sikhs are pretty pissed off at the clearly targeted security checks at airports.

I'm with you 100% but... sadly radical clerics and simple minded people are being convinced that the "west" is a bad thing, and to some extent I agree we are to a lesser or greater extent a bunch of money grabbing oil hungry tyrants who basically use technology to get what we want.

But the day will come when China rules the block and we will all have to do what THEY say is security.. swings and round abouts. Only it seems to take about 2000 years for the swings to move

I feel for the Sikh population of Britain. They have integrated into the British society they have moved to. The disadvantage they have is that some people think they are Muslims.

Sikhs are from Hindus Guru Nanak was a Hindu Khatri so they are Hindus

I think Sikh's are half Hindu and half Muslim. It's a hybrid religion of the two.

Worst terrorist act in Canada was carried out by Sikh extremists. Was the worst aviation terrorist act ever at the time.

1985 Air India bombing...329 killed. Bomb was planted by Sikhs in Vancouver and blew up near Ireland.

In 2006, if the muslim Toronto18 carried out their act before getting caught, that would have been many times worse.

it was revenge on Indian government for attacking golden temple and killin innocent women and children i would do the same if the vatigan was attacked and people were killed

No doubt there were serious security, surveillance and policing faults over the Air India incident but my earlier post was a statement about some of those who have immigrated to my country and bringing the problems and issues with them from their mother countries.

Lets not forget the thousands of muslims also who died in WW2 my family are muslim and fought also in burma africa italy.
